今回の滞在について。
前回も利用して快適だったので、また利用させていただきました。アプリを使ってのシステムに変わったようで、詳細がわかりやすかったです。 立地もよく、清掃もきれいにされていて、快適です。 ただ、現在建物の修復工事中だったようで、しかもまさに滞在する部屋のベランダを工事中で、カーテンを開けっぱなしにすることも、ベランダに出ることも出来ず、せっかくのオーシャンビューが台無しだったことはとても残念でした。

チェックインには多少戸惑いましたが、担当の方がとってもとても迅速に対応してくださいました。部屋も想像以上に広く、綺麗で、快適にゆったりと滞在することができました。

・オーシャンフロントで海と空がきれいに見えてすてきでした。 ・宿泊中、キッチンのシンクのトラブルがあり、フロントに連絡しましたが、レンタル会社に連　絡してくれとのことで、連絡したところすぐには、直らないので再度フロントに交渉したりと　かなり語学ができないと大変なこともありました

解放感に浸れないコンドミニアム。
マウイは３度目で５泊７日でしたが、３日間は寒い雨模様でした。そんな中での部屋模様はリゾート感も無く、落ち着き感も無くてがっかりしました。何しろ床が全面タイル貼り仕様には驚きました。（真夏ならまだしも）自宅の無垢フローリングのほうがはるかに優れます。料金との見合いで評価すれば、二度と利用する価値はありません。４，５万円追加してでも評価の高いコンドにした方か満足出来たと思えます。

夕方6時を過ぎるとスタッフがいない為、チェックイン出来ません。知らされている電話番号も留守電です。連絡が取れずかなり焦りましたが、隣のコンドのスタッフがなんとか連絡を取って下さり部屋のキーコードを聞いて頂きました。これがなかったらどうなっていたことやら。 レイトチェックインが保証されていましたがもう少し丁寧に説明が必要だと思います。6時過ぎる場合は必ず電話した方が良いです。因みに日本語は全く通じません。

自由で楽しいステイでした
以前にカアナパリのホテルに滞在したので、今回は違う所と思ってキヘイに滞在。日本語の口コミも少ないので、どんなコンドミニアムかちょっと不安に思いつつやってきましたが、とっても素敵なコンドミニアムで大満足でした。お部屋のインテリアも凝っています。また、お部屋に色々な物が用意されていて、調味料等が色々な種類あったり、ゴザとかシュノーケルセット、パラソル等、ビーチで過ごす道具はたいてい揃っていてビックリ！！残念だったのは、今回レンタカーを借りてなかったので一番近いスーパーへゆっくり歩くと10分以上かかってしまうのと（→これはレンタカーがあれば解決します）、あと6時になると事務所がしまってしまい、誰もいなくなってしまうことかな。でも6時まではコンシェルジュの人もいて、ツアーの予約や行きたい場所への行き方を教えてくれたりとっても助かりました。なので、自由にゆっくり過ごせて長期滞在にはもってこいのコンドミニアムだと思います。

マウイに住んでいるような　リラックス感
キヘイのショッピングエリアまで　すぐ近い距離にありながらも　地元のかたの静かな居住区に位置し　治安も安定しており　また　宿泊されている方も　みなさん　感じが良いかたばかり、　　日本語は通じませんが　カタコトの英語でも十分　対応可能でした。　　部屋からは海が見渡せ　プールやジャグジーも完備、部屋もとても可愛らしく素敵でした。　また泊まってみたいと思います、　ただ　やや残念だったのが　私たちが宿泊した部屋は　玄関の鍵が　開閉しずらく　また　2ベットルームのうちのひと部屋が　ドアが壊れて閉まらず　天井からぶらさがったまま　修善されていませんでした、　お金をとる以上は　そのあたりのリッフォームはきちんとしておいて欲しかったですが　　居心地としては　とても満足です　　ありがとうございました

The unit that we were in was not well kept/maintained. The kitchen, appliances and furniture were old. The kitchen cabinet doors stayed open no matter how many times we tried to close them. Some of the furniture was broken and not usable. The entire unit is damp and dinky, especially the carpet and flooring. It's less than expected. We had no idea what type of unit we’ll get until we got into our room. At the time of booking there was no detailed information about the unit and there were no pictures other than some nice shots of somewhere else. What an unfortunate that we got stuck with this little dinky unit for 7 nights. SEVEN NIGHTS !!! The only thing we could do is to try to stay outside as long as we could. During our stay, we got a chance to talk with our next doors and they happily showed us their units. Both units (to the right and left of our unit) were a big contrast compared to ours. Their units were clean, brightly lit with a beautiful kitchen fully equipped with granite countertop and shiny stainless-steel appliances. We felt like we were cheated. With the kind of money that we paid, including tax and fees, for 7 nights we could have stayed in a much better and more comfortable place. We will never book with this property again, for sure.

Property photos of the unit showed being nicer than when we arrived on site. Property & unit (331) was extremely old and outdated. Carpets were dirty along with the shower/tub. The living room sliding glass door was overly heavy and not easy to operate. Combine that with the fact the handle was malfunctioning and very hard to lock. Additionally, the sliding doors from the upstairs unit was very noisy when operated.

Stayed in the Plumeria building. Dated condo room with old carpet, Bedroom had an underlying smell, Bathroom didn’t seem like it was cleaned. The owner provided ice chests, two beach chairs (one old and one new), broken stand up umbrella for sand Pros: Ocean view, full kitchen, great location, used pool every day!

Before I dive into why this place didn’t work out for us - it has great location. Super convenient because it’s a 20 minute drive to most beaches and tourist attractions. Access to the beach is nice, view is great, parking is easy, pool and hot tub are nice but I wish there was a bathroom close to it - if you have kids it’s very annoying to go back to the room every time they need the bathroom. It’s nice there’s an elevator as well. Now, overall the conditions of the room we stayed in, 331, really made our experience on Maui worse than it could have been. I rarely review properties or provide feedback but the room we stayed in was super outdated. Furniture, carpets, beach towels, beach chairs - all were really outdated and old. We have a 5 year old and if we had a younger child we’d probably leave because the carpets were completely old and ugly. It’s unpleasant to come home after the beach every day. The TVs are new though which is the thing I care the least about. But the small things that make for a good experience like beach towels, chairs, appliances were very very old. And I get it the demand is probably high so owners don’t have to do anything at all and people will rent but these things are so inexpensive it’s really lazy not to pay attention. New beach towels and chairs are a 100 bucks. Yet the chairs in the apartment are very old and ugly, the towels are falling apart. Please update the carpets and bathroom - that’s the least people paying 1000s of dollars deserve.

Our condo was clean and the onsite manager recommended great places to eat (local Hawaiian). All staff was friendly too. It was quiet and very nice to have laundry facilities on the grounds.

Lovely place-- almost everything needed included somewhere in the condo. I bought a can/bottle opener and left it there for future. I was so happy with proximity to beach. Only downside was check-in... that was awful. I had emailed multiple times before hand, trying to find out procedure and location but never got a straight answer. I got address but in the dark at 10:30pm nothing matched Maui Condo and Home. I had to call and multiple texts to find the location. I got the code after doing what I was told and sending the covid HI clearance, but that did not help!! The only sign on the building said "PLUMERIA" -- nothing I was told the building would say. The only entrances into the building are hidden little walkways and front door was locked. I was glad I found the elevator-- or getting to the 3rd floor would have been awful! I helped another new guest find the way in... and he was coming in the daylight!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also sent you MULTIPLE emails ahead of time with the Arrival Instructions AND your property address in a special bolded section that states "Property Address" directly under your "Unit Number" with property name "Kauhale Makai." Our agent also sent you your property address on September 9th, at 6:42pm- days before your arrival. See excerpt below: Aloha Mary, The Address to check in at below: Kauhale Makai 938 S. Kihei Road Kihei, HI 96753 Office opens at 10am to 4pm. If arriving after hours you can register the next day. ----------- Maui Condo & Home is the rental company, and you booked a unit at the Kauhale Makai through Travelocity. That is the name of your property. If you were having issues finding your room even after receiving your code, you could have called our After Hours number again. Our late night crew is extremely helpful and would have been happy to assist you. I hope all of this brings clarity to you and our future guests. Maui Condo & Home is well prepared and has been commended for our extensive communication and response times- there is no way we would have left you stranded. Mahalo,

Great place to stay
Getting into the place was difficult at first. We were sent some info for another property so our map was wrong and we sent our personal info to a stranger. The after hour guy I called was great and extremely helpful and fast with responding and sent the right map. The condo was great. Loved that it had beach chairs and a cooler to use.

We stayed in room 222. We were extremely grateful for the beach amenities-chairs, towels, umbrella, etc, they were very helpful during our stay. The place is very spacious. The kitchen was also well equipped. Location is convenient, easy to get to Lahaina, Kahului, Paia, Makena, etc. There is a nice, private, white sand beach right in front of the buildings, very enjoyable.

Very deceptive about the condition of this property, Major construction happening, they have large areas dug up with pipes exposed right outside our door, holes cut in the walls of the building with exposed pipes, loud machines that make it hard to have a conversation inside the condo. Complained to the management.They don't care!! Sorry, will not be back to this place ever, They should be more upfront about this work going on, and be renting at a discounted rate at the very least... Don't rent here!!!

By time you return to Maui, the Kauhale Makai could be done with renovations and be in pristine condition. Not staying here because of prior renovations could mean missing out on the beauty of the newly updated property right on the beach. I love this property and we have stayed here more than six times. This time there was construction that started at 8:30am, which made relaxing on vacation difficult. Also this particular condo had an extremely small television and the foldout couch was unbearable, luckily there was an air mattress. Great property though, good location, nice pool and BBQ area.

Horrible experience Maui condo and home should be ashamed of themselves.they failed to disclose major dust noise and construction at one of the two condos we rented for a large family vacation.they really upset my family and I and it was a horrible experience.the terrace on my condo and all around us were Not even bearable to be in from Monday to Friday.they should give me a full refund for my week.

Expedia was aware of the construction and they placed a notice on our listing so all potential guests would be aware. They also listed our units at a discounted rate as a courtesy to the guests who decided to book. We also made unavailable all rooms that would be directly affected. Again, we are very sorry that you did not see the notice and were not aware when you arrived. I also hope we were able to assist you in moving to another condo or helping in some way to make your stay more enjoyable. Beautiful view, wonderful pool area, but unable to use because of loud construction daily m-f 8-5... the owners did not make us aware of this. I feel the price should have been adjusted accordingly The room itself is run down, outdated and not cleaned well between guests I will never use this owner again, I will never stay at this condo and will not recommend, will dissuade people from staying here

Aloha! We are so sorry that your stay was not as expected. Expedia is well aware of the construction on property and has the notice posted on the listing. There is also a discount for booking this property because of the construction. I apologize that you felt the condo was not clean. We do have our inspectors check the unit after the cleaner has cleaned, on the day of the guests arrival. If there was something that needed to be addressed we are happy to have it taken cared of, as long as you tell us about it. We also rent our condos out individually, so you can choose the unit that best fits your needs. We hope to serve you again during your next Maui getaway. Mahalo!

Even though I didn't stay there much during the day the complex seemed peaceful at night and quiet. Everywhere I needed to be with within an hour of this location. The beach on this property was a little bit Rocky mixed with sand but still a beautiful view.. and the decor of the room was older then the decor shown on the online site but nevertheless was clean and neat

Good location
If you are not picky this is not bad condo it is outdated. Could use ceiling fan and new outlets. Air conditioner worked great.

Nice condo but each unit is privately owned
The property itself was pretty nice. The condo had a beautiful oceanfront view and the beach was only a few steps away. The beach wasn't ideal for swimming because of the very rocky shore but a short walk down the shore and you could find sandy areas. The property also had a large grassy area which was nice to fly a kite or watch the absolutely gorgeous sunsets. The physical location was okay. We needed to rent a car because we had planned various activities around the entire island which took us an average of about 20 to 30 minutes to reach our destination. There were tons of major grocery stores and eateries only a few minutes down the road. If you're a smoker please note that this property is smoke free and that is strictly enforced. There are no designated smoking areas and you must leave the property to smoke. Now the unit itself, we had a nicely decorated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with an oceanfront view. The pictures online were actually very accurate. Unfortunately there were major problems we encountered with our unit. The guest shower curtain was very moldy but I called the property manager and they replaced it the very next day. The promised wifi never worked and we tried to connect with several devices. We're pretty tech savvy but the wifi just didn't work. Last but definitely not least, there were roaches and bed bugs in our unit. Roaches are pretty easy to identify but bed bugs are tougher to spot. Everyday my family had tiny little bites all over.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We are on a tropical island and it is normal to have roaches in the home. Can you please advise me of what unit you were in. We do take bed bugs seriously, so we definitely want to get that inspected. Mahalo,

Great views and location.
This was a really nice place. I would recommend that owners update toilet to low water flush model.
