"We got a very friendly welcome by the owner. She made us feel like home during our stay. There is a kitchen you can use to cook, and free bicycles to use when you want. There is also tea and coffee for free anytime you want. The walk to the beach takes about 10-15minutes. "Good location on beach. Shame about the beach. Dirty, lots of rubbish, and stray dogs roaming about. Bungalow rooms are fine, restaurant is more like a canteen. Beach bar, if open only has basically beer or soft drinks. But you will need own transport to get here. Which is why main trade seems to be Thai. "

"We had an amazing stay at Sandalwood resort. The property was sunny with gorgeous views and our room was spectacular. We had our own private pool too! Our favourite spot on our whole trip through Thailand. The only issue was had was that the hotel was right up a difficult hill to drive/walk so many taxis wouldn’t come up the steep hill to get us or stop us off and we had to hike it… it was a tough walk up. The hotel sometimes offered us their taxi/truck but there were extra costs. Overall an amazing place though. "
