Location and amenities were fantastic. Being able to see the ocean and horizon was so amazing So great having so many rooms. Bit tough to ensure we had enough bedding for all the beds :| We loved it, the shower and little bath were incredible. So good to have a laundry. Really easy check in. Only thing worth mentioning is that there wasnt really any decent sized fry pans and the inside table is fairly tacky, likely from years of use and salty air.

We stayed at this house on Fraser Island and found it to be in a great location. The property is spacious with plenty of room, making it ideal for a comfortable stay. While some aspects of the house are a little dated, overall it’s a nice place to stay and served us well during our time on Fraser Island.

I’d suggest you steer clear of this property. We were pretty bummed out because the ad didn’t quite match the reality, and it was a big mess. We had to leave a night early, which unfortunately cut our Christmas holiday with family short.If I could, I’d give it zero stars. Some of the main problems were that there was no microwave, no internet or TV (the host suggested we use a hotspot, but if you’re not with Telstra, there’s practically no reception) and the bathroom floorboards were water-damaged, and mouldy. The fridge and freezer were also mouldy and rusty, and two of the four burners on the cooktop weren’t working. The main bedroom fans were too slow and the speed switch didn’t work (which was a bit much on a hot December day), plus the fans were dirty and there were heaps of other issues. The house is also full of stuff left by previous guests such as random shampoo, kitchen utensils, cutlery, etc.We’re also a bit disappointed with the Stayz/Vrbo support team, especially how this has been handled and the little compensation they’ve offered, even though they advertised it as a guarantee.

Great house, views, location, space, verandahs, good kitchen with 2 fridges. Bloody great hot water. Can walk to shop for coffee, milk or dinner. Walk to beach. Behind dingo fence if you are concerned about them . Will definitely be back
