This house can be rented as a 4/3 or a 3/2 because of the in-law suite ...see our other listing to rent it as a 3/2. Only renting the 4/3 house guarantees you will have the whole property to yourself.

Bring the whole family to this amazingly restored Florida lake home with lots of room for fun. Swim in the lake, catch some fish, build a sandcastle, make s'mores, nap in the sunroom, play fetch with your dog in the fenced yard, and so much more. Only an hour away from the beaches and the many springs of North Florida. The 1940's "Camp Blanding" house has had a complete makeover giving it the feel of an "Old Florida" lake house with all the comforts of modern living.

Great Graduation Trip
My Daughter requested a Lake House as her Graduation Trip with the Family. The Getaway on Lake Geneva fit the bill. Very relaxing location. HOST WAS QUICK TO RESPOND AND ABOVE AND BEYOND ON RECOMMENDATIONS!! Fished from the dock and caught bass and trout. Local bait shop (recommended by Host) very helpful. Host recommended some local restaurants. Cedar River (Host "get anything stuffed") was excellent with large portions and better seafood than many coastal locations. Orange Blossoms (Host rec also) was PHENOMENAL - extraordinary selection great bloody mary's. Dogs loved the yard and had a great time as well. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

A great getaway !
We had an amazing time at the property from beginning to end. The home is blessed with a large yard and also a lot of lake frontage for all of your activities. The green house is fully stocked with floats, fishing poles, and life jackets, and yard games for your enjoyment. My 3 year old loved building sand castles down at the sandy beach while we floated in the water and our lab puppy swam around. We felt right at home, whether we were watching a movie in the living room, or hanging out in the Florida room while our children played with toys that were provided and our puppy played in the spacious yard. Be sure to wake up early to be on the water so that you catch the gorgeous sunrise. My only regret is that we did not book a longer stay!

Quiet & Serene
This was a great place for my family of four and in-laws to stay on our trip to Florida. The house was quaint and well laid out for our group. The house was on a beautiful lake and had a well maintained beach and all the amenities that we needed. Would highly recommend!

Like being at Grandma's house
I loved this home and the location. A lot of the items in the home are original and coupled with antique furniture gave me the feeling of spending the week at my grandma's house when iv was a kid. Fun place to stay.

Great Place for a weekend stay
We were in town for a wedding for the weekend. We had a group of 10 of us that met there. The house had plenty of room for us to stay. The back room was great for us to be able to hang out as a large group. The house is equipped with anything that you would need. The hosts contacted us prior to arriving to give us instructions and make sure we were content. The house has a beautiful lake view and access with two docks. We took the boats out for a few hours of fun on the water. This would be a great place to stay for any events in the close area. It also has easy access to Gainesville if you are visiting UF. My only caution is that the turn into the property is difficult to see. The owner gave great instructions on the email for it, so make sure you read their email before arriving.

Family Thanksgiving gathering
Our family stayed at the lake house over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was perfect for us. Each of our daughters had their own room and with 3 bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was spacious and allowed room for all of our Thanksgiving prep work. We loved spending time in the sunroom enjoying the lake view. We chose the location to also attend the football game in Gainesville and it was perfect.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our time at The Getaway. Kayaking on Lake Geneva was the highlight of my son's day.
