"Sign on breakfast bar indicates " gluten free" This is on top of breads and bagels... I believe it was the toaster nearby that was for gluten free items. Not the items there...hence I ate a piece of toast that was not GF....not good....maybe indicate "toaster" is for Gf items."

"We love it here. Great property and great owners. It's nice and quiet and such a great getaway. We suggest having an idea on what you want to do as far as activities away from the cabin before you go, plan the old school way, or wing it and head out and then figure out what you want to do as the cabin is in a dead spot for cell phone/data signal."

"Central location, the canal is right across and onsite kayaks were a great addition. Kitchen has everything we were looking for. Two gripes I had were the cleanliness of the rooms upstairs, they were a little dusty and our room had way too many spiders. Also, one room smelt of weed, but after turning on the provided fans the smell seemed to go away a little. The other thing is the noise from outside does travel in, keeping the fans on helped a little with white noise.Customer service for the property promptly picks phone and responds - One standing fan was missing blades but was promptly replaced. Bathroom showers are small, so there was no way to avoid water splashing out during a shower. However, I like they had enough towels for our group of 8- I only had to launder the towels once during our 4 night stay, They have provided a lot of board games to play, our group with younger/older kids and adults really enjoyed using it after a long day outside. We also enjoyed the grill outside, but be careful there might be a very cute tabby cat that might be looking for some tidbits to eat :)"
