A fantastic location although reaching the garage can sometimes be a bit tricky! Neighbour can be a bit of a busy body but all good. Could have been cleaner on arrival with dust and food in sink plug. But a great compact property with everything you need, comfy beds and outside space

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Old Laundry! If you've been to Keswick before, you'll know how lovely the town is, and this maisonette is situated right in the centre, but tucked down a quiet street. If you haven't visited before, then the town is full of everything you need- including many walking shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and a large booths. Just a short walk down to the lake and close to the start of many lovely walks too. The apartment itself is perfect for a small family or group holiday, with a sizeable kitchen and modern bathroom. The roof terrace is a lovely bonus. Plenty of coat hooks and a shoe rack are also great. The previous reviews about the low sloping ceiling in the main bedroom do have a point, and I had a bump, but you know- just look where you're going and don't smash your head as I did... If I was going to be very picky I'd say we could have done with a broom. A lovely dyson is provided but it's a little bit difficult to hoover up dried mud from boots. A full length mirror would also have been nice but that's me being picky, as I bought new walking trousers and wanted to have a look. (there is a half length mirror but it's down the end of the slopey ceiling) We usually camp but being December we decided against it and it made for an awesome week in the mountains. Thank you!! The cottage was well furnished with everything we needed. The garage saved us from packing the car in the rain. Being only 3 minutes from the market square made all of Keswicks shops etc. very handy. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely little apartment but would be a bit snug for 4 people. Sofas could do with updating but everything else was great. Only real criticism is that we couldn’t use the shower as there were lose tiles around it and this was causing water to leek into the downstairs toilet. We were told it couldn’t be fixed until after our stay as it was a full day’s work to sort it. We managed with the bath and a hand held shower head but it was a bit of an inconvenience. I also felt the place could have been a bit cleaner. There was a lot of dust on lamps upstairs and on the toilet base and around the toilet. Great modern flat with garage parking. Very convenient. Very comfortable. Very well appointed although some of the cutlery etc was cheap and needs sorting through. Single bedding didn’t fit well.

Excellent apartment in a great location for the centre of Keswick, with secure private parking. Very clean and well equipped. Only possible improvement would be a bigger bed in the main bedroom which it could easily take. Highly recommended.

Great stay at number 4 the old laundry. Secure off road parking in a drive in garage. The property had everything you needed for a great holiday stay. 2 minutes walk into the centre of Keswick. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

stayed at the old laundry a number of times 3 times at no 4.very good value for money.the owners have thought of everything to make guests stay as enjoyable as possible.the garage is an added bonus.its the best place we have stayed all the years we have been going to Keswick.would recommend it to anybody.the fact that we keep going back speaks for itself.we are looking forward to our next stay at the old laundry.
