New listing ideally located on the Guadalupe River, a quick drive/ bike ride to Charming Downtown Kerrville. Enjoy quiet mornings next to the river & lively evenings at nearby restaurants, breweries and wineries. Our riverfront has its own private access with a large deck and stairs right down to the water. Eat out, or dine at home in our spacious dining room or outdoor patio, equipped with a gas grill, mini smoker and fire pit. This historic limestone house is one that just can't be passed up!
The space
The river cottage is clean and cozy and the property has plenty of open space inviting your group to stretch out or gather all together. Chill out in our relaxing and colorful living room, sit around by the fire pit outside, lounge under the shade on our deck by the river, or walk down to the riverfront for an afternoon of fishing and kayaking. The house is also conveniently located right by the southern trailhead of the Kerrville River Trail. The cottage has 3 bedrooms all with queen beds, and 2 bathrooms. Our Hill Country Community has sustained immeasurable damage from the devastating flood of July 4 this year. We were fortunate to avoid any damage to our river house, and the expansive deck, just across the street and overlooking the river, remains intact. The footprint of the river has permanently changed, and we cannot be sure what structures, trees, and relocated boulders await our discovery at the river bottom. Our decision, to encourage continued visitation and support to our devastated community, has been to lower our rates for the near future. Our hope and prayer is that this gesture will lower any resistance to visitors contemplating an adventure to our area. The people, though understandably gloomy, are still friendly and the food and entertainment are great.
