Previous time I stayed at this resort was about 6-9 months ago. Since then, it has seen the effects of the COVID virus. No breakfast; have to ask for water to be delivered to room; no face or hand towels/had to ask and general housekeeping. While the staff was still great; first class and accommodating/there are just not enough guests to allow for "normal" amenities that one assumes will be there. I love KEP and do hope that things will change for the better. Vanna still is a great location and hope for the the best going forward.

Very nice Kep style resort. Pool is first class/certainly more than you would expect at a location that charges <$40 per night. Room was OK; breakfast left something to be desired. Other than that, very high marks.

A short stay !

The hotel is ok , but it’s quite a trek to get to it from the main road . The road is quite bad , pulling the suitcases up the hill is not a good idea . The crab market and restaurants are nearby .

Un hôtel vieillissant dans un cadre superbe

A notre arrivée nous avons été tout de de suite sous le charme du magnifique jardin et de sa belle piscine. Nous avions réservé sur le site une suite de 60 m2 et en entrant dans notre installation nous avons constaté qu’il ne s’agissait que d’une chambre d’environ 25m2 avec il est vrai une belle terrasse qui après nos réclamations semble compter aux yeux de la direction dans la superficie totale!! A part cela les chambres et la salle de bain sont un peu vétustes et la literie un peu raide. Cela dit grâce à la situation et la piscine nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour, pour un budget correct.

Great position, close to crab market

We loved the hotel, the rooms were bungalow on the hill side next to a forested hill, with a great view of the sea. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned. The hotel was very close to the national park and within walking distance of the crab market and restaurants. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel rented a scooter for us at a good rate and we did not have to mess around checking prices etc. The swimming pool was lovely overlooking the sea. The breakfast was excellent when there were plenty of people in the hotel buffet style and Asian and omelette etc ) but only acceptable when there were only a few staying. We would stay here again.

A Few Issues, But Overall Still Nice Hotel

I've stayed at Vanna Hill Resort 4 or 5 times now, and although it has some issues, it's a great place to stay. The staff, although with limited English, are always willing to help with a smile. The pool is one of the best I've seen, and the location, about a 10 minute walk from the Crab Market, is very good. The hotel does have a few issues, though. The breakfast is very limited, by most standards. Some of the rooms have air conditioning problems, but the staff is always there to help. The sinks have only cold water, but hot water is usually very plentiful in the showers. The wi-fi can be spotty, but better than it used to be. I'll stay again and again.

The manager was very available and welcoming. The front desk staff were excellent, knowledgeable, capable, great with customer service. Loved the sea view, air, access to national park and the sea, happy hour, quiet environment, comfortable room and lovely pool.

Kep...Endroit agréable???

Arrivés en pleine période de fête de l eau, les Cambodgiens se rassemblent en masse afin de dejeuner en famille et laissent tous leurs déchets sur place,autant dire que Kep ressemblait à une déchèterie à ciel ouvert .

Toller Pool, schöne Lage, das wars dann aber schon

Als wir ankamen, mussten wir erstmal nach dem Personal suchen, daraufhin wurden wir in ein winziges Zimmer (Boden und Wände mit dunklen Fliesen bedeckt, was das ganze noch kleiner macht) gebracht. Das Bad war nicht wirklich ein Zimmer in dem man sich wohl gefühlt hat. Das WLAN war im Zimmer sehr schlecht, man könnte am Pool aber ganz gut ins Internet gehen. Die Klimaanlage war recht laut, sodass ich nachts mehrmals deshalb aufgewacht bin, dafür ist die "Veranda" ganz schick , mit Hängematte und schönem Ausblick. Der Pool ist super einladend, man kann sich entspannen und dabei auf das Meer blicken, ich weiß jedoch nicht in wie fern er regelmäßig gesäubert wurde, da jeden Tag einige Blätter darun rumschwimmten. Der Service war grausig, wir hatten das Hotel mit Frühstück bestellt und (ausgenommen am ersten Tag) der Kellner konnte kein Englisch , es kamen daraufhin entweder Dinge die man nicht bestellt hatte, oder es fehlte schlichtweg die Hälfte. Außerdem dürften wir jeden Morgen mindestens ne halbe Stunde auf das Frühstück warten. Vielleicht sieht das Ganze in der Hauptsaison anders aus (es waren insgesamt vielleicht 3 Gäste da), aber da ich das selbe Hotel wie jeder andere Buche, erwarte ich auch gleiche Leistung. Die Zimmer wurden immer schön geputzt, alles war sauber, es gab neue Handtücher, daran gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen.

Overall, this place is quite a deal for what I paid ($14/night) for the single room. I was looking to get away for the weekend and it was the perfect place for that. The restaurant is good, breakfast was $5 for me, or if you really want to treat yourself to breakfast, the amazing Veranda breakfast buffet is right next door for $9. The pool was great and the room simple, nice, clean, with a small flatscreen TV. The only thing it lacked was a refrigerator--I assume this is to discourage bringing in your own drinks, which were quite overpriced here, but I brought some to the pool anyway and no one said anything. The staff were very friendly and it is very quick access to everything in Kep.
