Built in 1890 and fully renovated in 2022, The Victorian is a spacious, elegant, and character-rich setting for family reunions, weekends with friends, holiday celebrations, or any special gathering. It’s the kind of house we all dream of designing if the only purpose were to entertain. The answer to that “if only” gathering—if only there were more space, more bedrooms, or no home office in the dining room—The Victorian delivers, without compromise.
The home features five guest rooms, a welcoming parlor with a fireplace, a cozy library, a formal dining room that comfortably seats twelve, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with a six-burner gas range, two dishwashers, refrigerator, and walk-in pantry. It also includes Bertie’s Bar, perfect for a pre-dinner toast or a nightcap.
Room 1
Conveniently located on the first floor, and accessed through a classic library with fireplace, this spacious flex room has two twin beds that can be pushed together to create a king-size bed.
Room 2
Informally known as “the yellow room,” this cozy room is bright and welcoming. It’s the smallest room in the house but the yellow walls and draperies make it a sunny spot, even on a grey day.
Room 3
The Royal Room
Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had 9 children! This spacious room is befitting princes and princesses. Enjoy a king sized bed, a large gas fireplace, antique make-up table and the coziest reading chair in the house. The over-sized bathroom has a stand-alone claw foot tub and separate shower.
Room 4
A handsome room in blue and white, this cozy space is tailored and welcoming. There’s a small desk for working, plus two comfortable chairs, perfect for chatting or reading the paper.
Room 5
The Victoria & Albert Suite
The most luxurious room in The Victorian, this room is befitting its namesakes, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. A large, bright space with a bow window and high ceilings, this room has its own private deck that’s large enough to seat the entire royal family!
