I am not an eggs & bacon breakfast eater - our table server was cheerful and happy to pass on what I’d really like to eat, and the chef did a superb job. Our room was clean and well maintained, though I did find the pillows a little “lumpy”."

"There was no breakfast menu we just got a bag with and apple, yogurt, muffin and drink box. The staff were pleasant. The room was nice and clean. Parking was ample. The whole complex wis in repair, no noticable sign, no pool no amenities at all. If we knew what it was like we would not have booked here. "

"The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out and about. But the Inn was very quiet in mid April so being in a dark parking lot was a bit unnerving. All told, a really good experience."

"The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner."
