The rooms are clean and tidy but could do with a few finishing touches. The pool area is excellent as are the other communal areas. Food is a high standard and staff are friendly and courteous. We had a lovely long weekend.

Thalassa Boutique Hotel is a very nice property. The rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. It offers two pools, a very nice outdoor bar/lobby and a wonderful restaurant. I would say the only setback was the construction right across the street from the hotel which made the road to the beach dirty and dusty. Honestly we found Costa Costa beach which is a 9 minute walk and we went there every day bc it was fabulous. The rooms are very clean. They change linens and towels every day and the cleaning staff is so sweet and friendly. They come into your room every evening, get the room ready for the night, leave Leonidas chocolate and water bottles Breakfast is included in the price and there are a lot of choices to pick from. The restaurant offers a Greek night with live music which we attended and had a lot of fun. It also hosts a barbecue night with a fixed menu and price. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you go to Kefalonia

The pool area was beautifully landscaped with olive trees, gorgeous flowers, plants and an abundance of rosemary. We did feel a little disappointed the pool was within the hotel rather than facing out to sea. It gave the impression the hotel could be anywhere. Visitors need to be aware of the construction work below of a new, very large hotel. Only the roofs are visible fortunately, but there is some noise if you go to the nearest small beach. The restaurant was excellent on the few times we went.

Absolutely fantastic adults-only hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The peaceful atmosphere made it the ideal place to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully presented and loved the fact that they had smart tvs in the rooms, so we could watch Netflix and Amazon prime on an evening and when getting ready in the morning, every detail was thought of. The food and facilities were excellent, and it was so refreshing to enjoy a calm, child-free environment. A truly relaxing and luxurious stay – we left feeling completely recharged and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!”

Great stay!

This hotel was one of our favorite hotels we have stayed at in some time. Very friendly staff and the food here is amazing. They have live music some nights which was also so fun. Very comfortable spacious room with so much closet space. I would definitely come back here.

For us what stood out were the staff, the quality of our room and food. This hotel is perfectly located if you want quiet but dont mind a 5 min walk to the beach or the town. The taxi services are great for further afield areas. Would we come back. Definitely.

We stayed here for 5 nights in July and it was amazing! The hotel is beautiful, the images online do not do it justice. It is quiet, and even in peak season was not super busy. The staff are lovely, and food and drinks are amazing. We were upgraded which was a suprise and the swim up rooms were incredible. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!

What an amazing hotel. Lovely rooms that are meticulously cleaned each day and given the turn-down service at night. Fantastic food, not only the sumptuous breakfast buffet that's included, but also the lunches and dinners a la carte - all served by friendly, smiling staff. Oh and then a cocktail bar with a glorious view to start or end the night. Cannot fault it.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and the architecture was impeccable. It captured the energy and essence of a true Greek island. The swim up suite was perfect for our couple getaway. There were 3 areas of improvement that could have made this an 5 star review. 1- the wasp nests that were located on the ceiling of the outdoor seating area for breakfast. (See picture and note) 2- a sewer smell that would come through the room from the drain of the shower. 3- A/C remotes were locked to slowest fan speed making it either really warm or cold in the room.
Breakfast seating area was covered in wasp nests which made eating challenging, dangerous (I’m allergic), and difficult to enjoy your meal.

I liked the hotel and the layout, the pool area, is very good looking, the average age of the people staying there is probably late 50's to mid 60's so you can be pretty much be assured that you won't get a football or a frisbee flying across the pool area, there is a beach near the hotel where you can watch the sunset called Makris beach. The WiFi in the room was very temperamental, the actual rooms are very very good looking apart from the front door to each room, which is strange, if they were to be changed then that would be a great bonus. George at the bar by the pool is brilliant along with the staff there and the staff at the bar in the front by reception, I can't fault any of the staff and there are too many to mention, but they were all great!
