Stunning Villa
We were 3 friends who stayed at this beautiful villa in May. The lcoation was very quiet and peaceful. We spend all of our days lounging around the pool, the pool beds were very comfortable and there was a lovely shaded seating area, if the sun got to much. The views in the evening were stunning. Everything you needed to make lunch was available in the kitchen. Our host evening got us some shopping in as our flight was arriving late in the evening. Lots of nice restaurants and bars in Kas, but we got a taxi into Kalkan most evenings, some really good restaurants to choose from in Kalkan. The price for a taxi into Kas is the same as going into Kalkan, around £5. Lots of lovely shops in Kalkan and the bars do amazing cocktails. We all fell in love with this place and would love to return, would recommend if you want a lovely villa in peaceful surroundings and close to the beach

Beautiful property
We spent two weeks in Kalkan. We loved the villa set in a quiet location, with a lovely pool, and sea views. We headed up into the mountains and loved it, found great eateries. Kalkan was not for us as we are a little older. Everything is on extremely steep hills, anyone with any mobility issues will struggle. But if you are fit, this villa is gorgeous.

Lovely villa
Beautiful villa, very spacious and all areas spotlessly clean. The pool area was very nice. Loved the roof terrace, views lovely and nice for drinks in the evening. Communication with the owner was very good, replied quickly. Would happily have another holiday in this lovely villa

Schöner Urlaub
Sehr schönes Haus, super Ausblick, nette Umgebung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Gigantischer Ausblick von der Dachterasse. Die Urlaubsagentur vor Ort war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und konnte bei Bedürfnissen schnell aushelfen. Als einen Kritikpunkt könnten wir höchstens den etwas zu stark gechlorten Pool nennen, der bei unserem Kind für einen leichten Hautausschlag gesorgt hat und wirklich stark nach Chlor roch. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Lovely family villa
Excellent villa, quiet neighbourhood, short stroll to a couple of restaurants and easy access to beach club/snorkelling/diving. This is a great base for a family holiday - very private, with a lovely little pool. We spent maybe half our time at the property, which is a lot and reflects just how much we enjoyed it. It’s not often you find somewhere where you’re perfectly happy to spend most of the day without venturing beyond the gate. But it’s also a great base for exploring the area. Happy to recommend Demre/Myra and particularly the archaeological museum there. Xanthos too. Fethiye is worth the hour drive for lots of reasons, not least the (busy) Tuesday market. Go to the fish market and get one of the restaurants to cook your purchases - it’s incredible value. And Kayakoy abandoned village is nearby and worth a look. Kaputas beach is nice for snorkelling, go really early to park (8am). It gets horribly busy later. Kalkan Dive Centre is a short walk - they do shore and boat dives. Predictably, you get better value for money for meals if you go for places with a street view (and much more fun people watching) than the busy rooftop terraces. Small House restaurant is very nice in town: worth driving up into the hills to the Islamar trout farm restaurants too for lovely views and meals for about a third the price in town. We are a family of two adults and 17 year olds. Would we go again. Absolutely.

A great property for a holiday in Kalkan
The house is in a quiet location near the sea. The views from the roof terrace are amazing, and the seating in the pool area is also very pleasant. Parking is always available outside the house. Kalkan is a lovely town, with great bars and restaurants around the harbour/beach area and in the old town. It also has some great shopping, particularly excellent quality handbags at great prices. Islamlar in the hills above Kalkan is worth a visit, as is the beach at Gelemis, and Ada's restaurant on the road to Kas.

Beautiful and peaceful villa by the sea!
This villa was even better than it appeared in the photos. The view from my terrace was picturesque, the rooms were comfortable, and the pool was a tranquil oasis. Overall, the Villa was private, comfortable, and beautiful. It is only a short walk to a beautiful beach club, and a 25-30 min walk to the center of town (but lots of restaurants and shops closer/on the way), and there is a supermarket nearby. We rented a car, and we were able to go on a few excursions for extremely inexpensive (15-25 minute drives). Personally, I think renting a car is a smart idea if you are staying in kalkan and want to go signtseeing, but if you are just trying to relax it isn’t necessary, and this villa is a perfectly relaxing time! I highly reccommend to anyone planning a trip to the kalkan/Kas region of turkey- you can’t find anything better than this!

Lovely spacious, well equipped villa with pool

Villa lives up to its name Bougainvillea
Just a few hiccups at this property. No pool towels (but that was fixed), and no hot showers the first day- you need to leave time in between showers. A nice welcome pack was orovided(milk, tea, coffee and biscuits). The villa is lovely and we were able to enjoy the pool. The views from the 2 top floors are stunning. I didn’t realise that the villa was so far from old town Kalkan and that really we needed to drive everywhere as Kalkan is built on 2 very steep hills. But if you’re looking for a quiet area this is perfect.
