Nestled in the heart of Caddo Lake, Kahula Lodge is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located at the end of a private road and situated on almost 3 acres, this one-of-a-kind lakeside cabin is truly a hidden gem. Wrap yourself up in natural beauty and take in the breathtaking views of Caddo Lake and the open water. *Offering easy water access, endless water skiing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing await! (boats not included – see attachment for rental options)

Recently remodeled, the light and bright 2,000 square foot cabin features hardwood floors throughout. Still maintaining it’s original charm, the updated kitchen is fully equipped and lends the perfect place to cook a delicious meal.

Flooded with natural light, the oversized and open concept living and dining afford plenty of room to host family and friends. The dining room was made for effortless entertaining with banquet seating for 16.

From the dining, step through the French doors into the tranquil sunroom boasting with walls of windows bringing the outdoors in. Kick back and enjoy the stunning view of “Big Lake” and the towering cypress trees draped in spanish moss. Don’t overlook the eat-in dining area ideal for a cozy dinner or board games!

Step off the sunroom to a coffee deck overlooking the serene waters and view the lake up-close. Grab your binoculars and watch for ducks, birds and wildlife. Keep an eye out for deer, beavers, nutrias, woodpeckers, turtles….. and you might even see a friendly alligator.

Enjoy the many outdoor amenities including two boat slips, the secluded fenced backyard offering room for kids and pets to roam and a fun round of horseshoe.

When it is time to relax, head to the cozy master suite with an updated walk-in shower and granite countertops. Spacious king size bed awaits for a restful nights sleep.

Two comfortable guest rooms, an additional pull out sofa and twin bed offer ample room for all guest to sleep comfortably.

View of lake is nice and the sunrise is beautiful over the lake. Lots of birds but we forgot our binoculars, so we wish there had been some at the house. Also needed to know that we should have brought our own coffee for the coffeemaker. House is very comfortable and spacious.

Very neat house with old time charm. The location could not be better. Very open view of Caddo Lake. Getting up early to see the sunrise, we found ourselves in a magical place: the songs of birds, the foggy water surface, the calls of roosters, the tall cypress tress in the water, the blooming water lily, even the spiders that walk quickly on the water… Everything was full of life when touched by the lights of the rising sun. The host is very communicative and accommodating. We only stayed there for two nights but went back home with lots of good memories.

Very nice property, but have plumbing problems in toilet and bathtub. We had 8 people to share one toilet in two days, called owner, but no one come to fixit. kitchen ware dirty and old and many stuffs shortage.

Very clean, charming and relaxing lake house. This was our family's first get together in over a year and could not have picked a better place for it. The sunroom had great views of lake and sunrise .We had all we needed for cooking family meals, pots, pans and dishes. The local stores had basic supplies for simple meals. It was really helpful having the highchair there for our 14 month old grandson to use. Would love to stay here again! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely lake house. The Renick Family

Super clean and neat. Sunroom across the back was the best feature. Older home with some antiques that feels like a lake cabin should. Lots of seating. The bed was too firm for me but I know that's a personal thing. The only two things I wished for was guttering across the back to avoid the raindrops going in and out, and a scrubby for washing dishes. Otherwise we had everything we needed.

The property worked well for our kayaking and photography workshop only drawback a single bathroom for five people with one person having a bedroom with bathroom attached. If we had had some couples, there would’ve been less strain on the bathroom however, we made it work. The location was good. The house was quite lovely and everything was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it keep in mind the number of guests two bathroom ratio. It is a pretty standard layout in terms of bedrooms two bathrooms. This house has extra bedding if the group requires.
