1. Residence Black Eagle Lubmin

Lubmin

The staff member, Dito, who checked us in was exceptional. Friendly and helpful and greeted us with champagne. He showed us around the property, including their new multi-level building, which is very nice but it lacks an elevator. The room we were in was in their single-level older building. We would gladly stay at this property again, although we may prefer the single-story building so as to avoid dragging luggage up the stairs. These room in the older building have a patio. Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away.
