A very good place to stay

We were very happy with the Tara.The best value in Thailand so far.The rooms were spacious.To be crtical some of the pillow cases were very discoloured and old.The pad thai for thirty bahts was excellent.Within easy reach of the station and river kwai.

A very good clean guesthouse.The food in the restaurant underneath the rooms has exceptionally cheap meals of excellent quality.Pad thai at 35 bahts.Within short distance of the train station and a good walk to the River Kwai.

Basis accommodation good enough for a couple night

There is practicaly no such a thing as a reception as the restaurant staff/bar attendant has finally found our booking displayed on a wall board and handed out the keys.The place is located on the main road full of the the other similar places where the expats are hanging around.If it is what you like then the Guest House is exactly what you need giving you the decent value for money, or as in our case, a basic accommodation for two nights sleep after a quite a exhausting adventure we have had in Myanmar.On a positive side the food served downstairs was quite decent and cheap.

Trevligt rum. Ett litet minus för att det inte riktigt finns en reception, utan personalen på en restaurang sköter även hotellet.

it was cheaper options for us and not suprised for what we received. 1,5 km to city center (bus station/market) in too much. the street is in west style bars so you can find what you need

Una buena sorpresa

Engaña a primera vista, ya que parece muy humilde. Luego uno llega a la habitación y descubre una sala grande, limpia, con todo lo necesario, muebles tradicionales y un ambiente estupendo. Además, el restaurante que se encuentra a la entrada es fantástico (gran oferta, todo muy rico y muy barato). Está bastante cerca de todo lo interesante pero en una zona tranquila.

Good B&B, close to the bridge

This is a perfectly good and clean B&B, close to the Bridge and lots of eating options near by. There is also a good cafe attached with tasty, well priced meals and drinks. A good base to stay in Kanchanburi.

Convenient hotel

Only spent one night here therefore cannot comment on facilities too much. The bed however was very comfy and the hotel was in a convenient location to see things such as The Death Railway, Hellfire Pass and the Erawan Falls. Was able to book a tour to both things through the travel company located at the hotel. Toilet and shower in same small room with no window which was slightly claustrophobic but no problem and shower was good.

Hotel pas cher.....

L hôtel est a un prix très raisonnable ,donc le reste va avec ,la chambre est propre mais la" fenêtre",si l on peut appeler cela une fenêtre donne sur un couloir très passant donc nous n avons pas ouvert les rideaux du week end . Le restaurant de l hôtel plutôt bon mais tenu par un jeune homme vraiment mal aimable . Sinon hôtel bien situé ,pas très loin de la gare, du marché et du pont de la rivière Kwai.

Hotel tres sympa!

Petit hotel tres sympa. Bon rapport qualite prix, calme et agreable. Differents services par la staff: conseils, navettes, restaurant.Tres bien situee dans une rue vivante de la ville. Equilibre parfait entre atmosphere familiale et festive. On recommande cet hotel pour sa proprete et sa localisation qui nous ont permi d'apprecier et se faire de bons souvenirs a kanchanburi.

Hatte gemeint, dass es näher zur River Kwai Brücke liegt; es waren doch ca. 1,8 km. Ansonsten für Kurzaufenthalt ok.

Großes Zimmer aber unfreundliche Mitarbeiter

Wir mussten beim Check-In lange warten, ohne das uns jemand gesagt hat wie lange es noch dauert oder mit uns gesprochen hat. Die Lampen im Zimmer haben teilweise nicht funktioniert, aber ansonsten hat es für einen Kurzaufenthalt gepasst. Was uns gestört hat war das Zimmer ohne Fenster und Tageslicht.
