Hotel RESOL is conveniently located opposite to the market and within walking distance to Kenrokuen Garden and the Kanazawa Castle Park. I like the corridor with floor lamps on the walls and very soft music. The room is very clean and quiet, spacious for a solo traveler. The breakfast buffet is delicious and healthy. Definitely will stay here again next time.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Omicho markets which are abuzz with people. The hotel is no more than a 1000 yen fare from Kanazawa train station. The hotel isn’t far from Kenrokuen Gardens which is a must see. It’s a pleasant walk, if you like walking through the Kanazawa Castle grounds to the gardens.

Even though this property isn't an apartment hotel (we stayed in a suite suitable for 3 people), they still provided dinnerware upon request. Water bottles provided everyday. Very close to nice shopping mall (5 minute walk) and taxi stand. Best to take a taxi to Kanazawa station.

Service was good, I received new towels every day. Breakfast service is a buffet style. Room layout is pretty nice for solo, may be a bit small for family. Hotel is pretty conveniently located right next to Omicho Market.

A great location very close to Omicho market and within 20 mins walk of other Kanazawa highlights. Room was average size for Japanese hotels (small!) and clean. Staff were lovely. A comfortable shared lounge with a coffee machine. Two things disappointed us. One is that there is no parking at the hotel as the booking site suggested. Instead you park in a covered public car park and the hotel reimburses the cost. It was all very efficient but the car park is a five minute walk away - enough for you and your luggage to get soaked when raining. The second disappointment is that there are only two washer/dryers for the whole hotel and both have security locks. So even if a previous user doesn’t collect their washing for an hour or more, you can’t empty the machine and get on with using it. When we were there, several other people were, like us, spending an evening flitting between the two machines hoping to find one free. So, if you’re travelling, don’t bank on being able to do your washing here.

Overall it was a nice and clean place to stay, however the room was too warm and it was centrally controlled aircon which was set to heat. The window didn’t open enough to allow airflow.
