"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Was a pleasure to stay at this hotel during our 5 night stay! The hotel is very close to the old town/harbor where all the action takes place. There there are tons of shops, restaurants and boats to chose from. Next to the hotel is a Hilton property with a great restaurant on the the roof from from where we saw a great sunset one night. The staff of the Samarian are excellent. Always smiling and willing to help you, we had an issue with our iron. When I brought this up it was quickly replaced with a much better one. The food they serve is also very good. We had an excellent beet salad, sandwich and pasta dish. The bourbon and whiskey section they have is also very special. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was served at a nice location (near the pool) had a great variety and was also excellent. I will remember the smiling staff for a long time!"

"For starters the staff at Corinna Mare is exceptional - they really look after you and take care of you and best of all super genuine and polite and nice! The property is always well maintained, the beach is literally in their backyard and the dual pools is bonus. One thing you must do is have dinner there - I promise you it is so worth it if you have dorado fish - chefs kiss! The roof we had near the front adjacent to the gate and it had two balconies - one in the bedroom and one in the kitchenette/living space. Used them both at night and it’s such a peaceful treat to have after a long day of excursions and driving. I would definitely come back and stay - I don’t have anything negative to really say here. They even do your laundry for a small fee! Excellent job Corinna Mare team!"
