駐車場のゲートの自販機に使いかたが分からなかったので。わざわざスタッフが同行してやり方を教えて頂き、助かりました。もし教えていただけなかったら、2倍3倍高くなる。

建物の老朽化。朝食を食べようとレストランへ行っても席は空いているがスタッフ不足で何組も待っている。プールサイドのバーで注文するのにも時間がかかる。立地は良い。

施設は全体的に古いが衛生的には問題ない。広い敷地の手入れも行き届いている。波の音が窓を閉めていても聞こえるほど、海が近くリゾート気分に浸れる。電気ポットも借りることができた。スタッフはフレンドリー。

全てに関して時間がかかる

チェックインを、三人で対応されていたが45分以上かかった。また、列が管理されていない。駐車場が混雑していて、常に空きスペースまちとなり、特に19時頃は、駐車できるまで90分以上かかった。

The building was a little aged, but it wasn't that bad. This hotel itself was wonderful with great service in many aspects. I just wish I had had complimentary water refilled everyday. It was given only once.

Hot water could not be used because the pipe was broken. It was not fixed till checkout (10:00), so there was no chance to take a shower. It would be tough for persons who normally take a shower everyday.

バスタブの栓が口を開けたままさび付いて１００パーセント流れ出て修理してもらって回るようになったけれどタオルでふさいでも15パーセント流れ出てお湯を張るのに時間がかかった。ハウスキーパーが一目見て気が付かなかったのが不思議。

5/18〜5/24で宿泊しました。部屋もバスルームも清潔でとても良い滞在を過ごすことが出来ました。各所にウォーターサーバーもあるので、水分補給にも困りません。コナの市街地へのアクセスも良好で、海岸線は良い散歩コースです。宿泊した部屋はオーシャンビューではありませんでしたが、ホテルの通路から見える海はとても良い景色でした。特に快晴でのサンセットは素晴らしいとしか言いようがありません。滞在中は駐車場を利用しましたが、ほぼ満車でした。よい場所は直ぐに埋まってしまうので利用される方はご留意を。駐車場の利用はチェックイン時にフロントで手続きをすればルームキーが駐車券代わりになるので出入り自由になります。また滞在したいと思える宿泊先でした。

快適に過ごせました

建物が古くて壁が薄いので隣近所の音がまる聞こえなのはマイナス点ですが、町にもすぐ出られてリゾート感もあり、サービスも良いので、全体的には満足です。ハワイはどこもそうですが、人手が足りなくてレストランが開いておらず、バーに宿泊客が集中するので、いつも食事時は中に入るのに待たなければなりません。それはちょっと困りました。そのうち解消されるとは思いますが。。。

上から2番目のグレードの部屋でしたが、コネクティングルームの様で、隣の部屋とのドアがとても薄く、防音対応もしてないようで、普通の音量の会話が丸聞こえでした。滞在中、ずっとストレスを感じてました。リピートはしません。

キングカメハメハと迷いロイヤルコナにしました。お部屋は綺麗にされており、設備も多少の古さは感じましたが十分でした。ロビーも吹き抜けで風が通り、レストランや廊下のベンチも窓がなく海が一望できるためとても気持ち良かったです。近くには地元の方にも人気のアサイーボウルや美味しいレストランが何軒かあり、ツアーで遅くなった日も助かりました。大型スーパーまでは少し距離があります（ABCはすぐ近所）が、全然散策できる範囲内です。

This property is run down. Roach infested and water linking from the restrooms. I was moved from one room to another and conditions remained. I would not recommend a stay here. You are better off at a Motel 6.

The property is right on a commercial street and costal line, I like that. It is clean and most of the staff are nice. It is very noisy at night, even after midnight. The nearby restaurant On the Rock makes their long lasting annoying music too loud, that I hear it on 7th floor like I am in street hear 10 cars alarm on together. One front desk staff suggests to move me to different room in the middle of the the night, and another staff says nothing the hotel can do about the noise, that the restaurant is “following the law”-she wasn’t in my room experiencing the noise and measuring it. Very disappointed about how the property handles the on going noise problem.

Check in person was short with me when asking questions. If I would have known that there is a $30 (approximate) daily charge, I would not have booked at the resort. I thought we booked an ocean view, got move to a different building with upgrade (supposably) and room over looked parking lot. Room was not sound proof, as nearby bar music was clearly heard with window closed and sliding shutters closed. Very upset over all with Expedia (not clear explanation of resort charges) and hotel. READ the fine print.

Overall our stay at The Royal Kona Resort was amazing. Our ocean front view from our balcony was incredible. As they say.....location, location, location. The Luau on the property was great. Our dinners at Don's Maitai and tiki bar were the best. Really only one complaint. They have a 2 cup coffee maker in the room. We went to Walmart on the first night and bought a $13 12 cup coffee maker.Problem solved.

Nice hotel, would benefit from some renovations. Would be great if they add some furniture to the balcony of the room, lots of space but no couch or some sort of chair/recliner to enjoy the sun. But good affordable hotel overall.
