This unit has EXCELLENT views and was well equipped. . Owner/host was quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay again, but would hope for a bit of updating to the unit. The downside was peeling wallpaper, rusted front of refrigerator and the need for new drapes.

Dishwasher is not level and not secure. Wall paper is peeling from the walls. Thanks for having beach chairs and an umbrella available for our use. The room has plenty of pillows but short of a blanket or two for the rollaway bed.

Awesome resort!

Condo was clean and host was great to work with. Full transparency, a few cosmetic things in need of repair. Wallpaper falling off and lower rack in dishwasher was rusted. Overall, still give it a 9!

Stunning Ocean Views

Although some may feel it could use some updating, that did not affect our stay whatsoever. Unbelievably stunning views and literally steps from the beach. Beds were very comfy and a well stocked kitchen and beach accessories available.We will be returning to this unit.

Amazing Time!!

Grounds were beautifully maintained! Condo was very accommodating for our family of 5, very spacious and definitely was a positive having 2 bathrooms. The view was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, we spent our early mornings and evenings on the lanai watching dolphins and whales. We look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing spot just steps from the beach and everything else you would need

One of the best properties to stay in Ka’anapali, the unit was perfect for my wife and 2 teenage children (having two bathrooms is awesome!!!)

Beautiful Oceanview Condo at the Whalers Resort Maui

We enjoyed our week staying at this condo which had a comfy Murphy bed for our son. The view from all parts of the condo was beautiful. Could watch the waves on the beach and a few surfers. Our host was very responsive to our questions and the condo was very clean and even had beach chairs we could use on the beach. It’s a very short walk to the Whalers Village where we could shop and eat at a variety of restaurants on the beach. Swimming in the ocean was amazing and was invitingly warm. We loved our week here and hope to return again next year. Aloha and Mahalo! 🏝️🍍

Great views and location

Condo features great views and a central location near the Whalers village with places to eat and shop. Condo interior is a bit dated but so are most of the units in the building (why invest on a lot of new interior to rent out?). Beds we’re comfortable and kitchen was nicely appointed with plenty of dishes and pans to cook with. Wake up every morning to the ocean views and people diving off the black rocks! We had a great stay.

Lucky Us

My family of 5 was fortunate to be able to enjoy a Maui vacation in a condo that has the most amazing view and sounds of crashing waves. The location was perfect for shopping and dining, snorkeling, and cliff jumping. Communication was great and the property manager was friendly and quick to respond when I had questions. Although the laundry room is shared with 1 washer/dryer per floor and not within the condo itself, I found throughout the week that it was almost always available when I needed it. The condo had clean sheets, towels, bath mats, and almost everything we needed in the kitchen. Because I love DIY projects and am handy, I did have an urge to offer to update wallpaper and paint and fix some things that are showing age, including the carpet, but the price we paid to stay in that location and in comfort was very fair. We enjoyed the gym, pool and hot tub, pickleball court, corn hole on the lawn. The shopping carts in the garage for use to bring groceries up were very convenient. I loved the trash chute on our floor and wish I had one in my own home that led straight to the trash cans! If we return to Maui, we will for sure look to see if this condo is available again. Amazing views and location!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! This was our third stay at Aston at the Whaler, and this unit had the best views we’ve experienced. Everything in the unit was clean and in good working order, plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms for our 10 night stay, and great little “extras” available for us to use such as the boogie boards and a cooler bag. We had one request at the end of our stay and Carla the property manager responded immediately and was so helpful! The unit had a new couch which was super comfortable, and our family of 4 thought both the king-sized master bed and the murphy bed were very comfortable. We’ll absolutely plan to come back and stay in this unit again for our next visit!

Paradise FOUND

This was our 2nd trip to Maui, married on Makena 16 years ago! This property at The Whaler has views that dreams are made of! Fantastic 9th floor view of Black Rock, the soothing sounds of the surf and immaculate grounds! We had plenty of room for 5 and certainly plan to come back. Very attentive staff. Fantastic primo beach and all amenities. Location to shopping and restaurants was ultra convenient too! Great experience!

Amazing property with stunning views!

My wife and I have stayed at several properties within the Whaler. We usually stay oceanfront, but wanted to try a property that provided shade on the patio. Facing the sun can be a bit hot all day and the only usable time on the patio is morning or after sunset. The amazing views of the ocean and Blackrock from this property are absolutely gorgeous and being able to eat lunch on the patio without the sun beating down on us was great. The property is as advertised, being in need of a little upgrades with the wallpaper and master bath tub fixtures. The kitchen appears to be recently upgraded and is very nice. Everything was clean and we felt comfortable wherever we were inside the condo. A bar height table and chairs would be a good add to the patio furniture. We would absolutely stay at this condo again. The Whaler grounds are stunning and staff is very friendly.

Comfort in paradise

Perfect location, gorgeous view. Wrote an email to the property manager our first night and they responded very quickly. The unit itself is a bit dated and could use a few maintenance type things. The key to the safe is missing, the chairs are comfy but very loud and squeaky, one of the closet doors was off track but the unit was clean and cozy. We had a blast. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning View

This condo is in the perfect location and has a lot of room with a stunning view. Snorkeling and sunset sail adventures available right from the beach front. We had an amazing time and look forward to future visits!
