We stayed here for three nights. This is one of our most favorite VRBO‘s that we’ve ever been at. Host communication was excellent. The room and set up is very nice and perfect for two people. It sits right along the Mendenhall River, which compliments the scenery and you occasionally get to see rafters floating by. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We will definitely look at staying here in the future.

Great Place to Stay in Juneau

Loved the property. One of the nicest I have stayed in. One small suggestion, put a dimmer switch on the overhead lights.

Cozy studio by the river

This is a cozy studio and was exceptionally clean and well stocked! Located in the valley with driving distance to Auck Bay and the Mendenhall Glacier.

Excellent comment with the host. Convenient location. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our anniversary get away. The river is beautiful and we loved exploring the trail system on the other side of the bridge. There is an attached unit, so there was some neighbor noise, as well as road noise (not so much that it caused issues, but be aware).

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was absolutely perfect! It was clean, cozy, updated, and the furniture, including the bed, was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with supplies. We spent most nights sitting outside drinking wine and enjoying the spectacular view of the Mendenhall River and the surrounding mountains. Since we didn't take a cruise, we were able to drive ourselves to excursion locations that were very close by, and we didn't have any time restrictions placed on us by a cruise line. Being able to run back to the cabin to change clothes or grab a bite to eat, and then get back out on the trails to hike, was extremely convenient. We were also only about 15-20 minutes from downtown Juneau. We wanted an adventure mixed with romance and relaxation. We got it and couldn't be more grateful! Thank you for helping to make our honeymoon so wonderful and unforgettable.

Review

The property is very nice. Located on the river. The internet did not work. Even though they were trying to get it working, never got solved during my stay. Besides the internet, it was very nice place to stay.
