"Lovely, quiet location in a rustic cottage. Great for families. Bathing in the lake was wonderful in the heat. Those who didn’t want to bathe could sit in the shade of the surrounding trees. "

"Daniel was very accommodating and even recommended restaurants nearby. It would be nice if there was a dedicated parking spot. Also if a coffee maker was available and more than 1 pillow per person was given."

"This was a magical stay. One of the closest homes to the castle. This unit had the most comfortable beds. Outdoor space is plenty with amazing views. Parking is attached and included, made unloading so easy. We felt like the only visitors, but had a few dining options. Definitely try the tapas place right next door and the Ginjinha bar was great for desert and drinks. My family can’t say enough good things about this stay."

"The hosts, Maria and Victor were awesome! At our request, Maria had the kindness to cook for us 3 of the 4 days we stayed at their beautiful place. She’s an amazing cook! We enjoyed the best meals at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a countryside experience in Portugal. They also have a beautiful pool and pool area. .everything was amazing!"

"Nous avons quitté les lieux plus tôt que prévu. La literie est catastrophique !!! Deux nuits ont suffit a nous casser le dos. Le logement n’est pas du tout adapté aux enfants, il manque cruellement de luminosité est très isolé de la civilisation. La cuisines n’est pas fonctionnelle ( pas d’eau chaud à l’évier, le peu d’ustensiles se délabre dans nos mains. Mandaram-nos arranjar um hotel às 10 da noite para 8 pessoas e deram-nos um budget ridículo para encontrar casa à última da hora para passar as seguintes duas noites. Ganhem vergonha! "Our family had a very exciting and relaxing time. Already since our booking we were in close contact with Antonio and all our questions were answered patiently and quickly. Therefore, our arrival was completely problem-free. Antonio welcomed us very warmly and took a lot of time for the handover. His recommendations for sightseeing, tours and gastronomy were very valuable. The house is located only 10 minutes drive from beautiful Tomar, which invites you to sightseeing and also shopping....

"We had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for only 2 nights. We wish it were more! Nuno and Lidiya are wonderful hosts and made sure we had every comfort we needed. The house is amazing, clean and spacious with beautiful stone architecture and artwork. There is every amenity you need and more. "If you have a large family that requires multiple rooms this is the place. When I booked I thought it was a property that had multiple residences. It turns out it is one residence with multiple rooms that shares the kitchen area. "

"We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again "

"I would highly recommend Mercure Fatima. Our stay was excellent. Property has a convenient location, close to Fatima and shops and dining options. There is a restaurant at the hotel as well. Property was extremely clean. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Breakfast is excellent, offering different choices of food. The only inconvenience we had was with parking at the hotel. Parking is underground (it is usual in all hotels in the area) and it is small. It gets full easily and the only choice is to park on the street across the hotel. Overall, our stay was amazing and we would stay at Mercure Fatima again."
