Stayed the weekend for our daughters wedding, the house was perfect. nicely updated with room for the family, close to Julian while being nice an quiet.
Highly recommend this property
The house was cozy, clean and very comfortable. It’s located in a quiet mtn. neighborhood setting- and has easy access to nearby destinations (parks, restaurants, etc). An ideal close-yet-far destination. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.
We drove up from Chula Vista for a quick family getaway and we are amazed beyond belief of this beautiful home. We enjoyed a quiet night an NYE and got to enjoy Julian and Mt Laguna New Year’s Day. It had all the amenities to prepare a beautiful dinner and a perfect table that fit us all. We even got to see flocks of wild turkeys in the morning. Rooms were perfect and clean. Will be coming back again to stay, we loved everything about this home.
We rented this place for two new nights for our daughters wedding at Pine Hill, which was 4 minutes away. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. The hair and make up people were there in the morning and there was plenty of space for them to work as well. The house was updated with a beautiful kitchen. I highly recommend.
We came up here for a quick getaway. This property met our expectations and more! The house was immaculate. Highend bedding, towels, curtains, appliances, and decor. We saw hundreds of wild turkeys and deer. We all had a great time walking around this neighborhood. Very peaceful and close to downtown Julian. My boys enjoyed chopping wood and gaming in the upstairs bedroom. It was perfect! We will definitely be back!!

Best Vrbo with worst host
The house is amazing and even better than in the pictures/description. The host did not respond for two days any of our questions or texts. She did not offer a phone number to contact her and we had an emergency but she refused to get in contact with us. Very frustrating, we stay in Vrbos often since it is convenient with a 2 year old kid, and this host was just the most unresponsive. We even got nervous driving to the house from San Diego, as we were not sure if the house would be actually available (given the woman was radio silence). For a house with this price I would expect a minimal amount of communication. That said, the property was clean, well located, we saw a LOT of deer and wild turkeys every day, and the heating system and wifi worked great. The kitchen pots and pans were great and the knifes sharpened, amazing! This would be our go-to new Vrbo in Julian if it wasn’t for the poor hosting, definitely.
