The location of the property off the beaten path was a pleasant surprise. Amazing views of the stars and good access to Victoria, and the coastline up to Port Renfrew.
Newer property with a beautiful view. Rooms are nice with a nice kitchen space. You definitely need a vehicle to get around. Host was very responsive to our questions.
This was the homebase our family needed after a busy softball tournament. The host was responsive, kind and friendly. One of my daughters was suffering from a migraine for part of our trip, so we had a bit of extended time in the suite. Luckily the space was homey and relaxing, and offered beautiful views. PS. daughter loved seeing the pet rabbit!
Just as advertised, this is a beautiful location overlooking the Sooke Basin. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and new. The sauna was fantastic after a day exploring. The location is a bit remote, but this made it quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended.
We were looking for quiet and beauty and nature.....the sauna and the cold plunge were like icing on the cake and our host Tanya was most communicative and easy to reach. We loved our stay in Sooke! Thank you
Communication with host was easy and efficient. Location is beautiful with a spa like vibe. Amenities are new and visually pleasing. Sauna and cold plunge is what sold us on trying out this rental and it did not disappoint.
Would stay again
The suites were very nice and the view was great . The only gripe would be carrying down the luggage to the room around the house . It would be great if a stairway was built on the side of the suite . Like I said everything else was excellent
Our stay at South Island Forest Suites was an absolute delight! Nestled in the heart of East Sooke Park, this cozy 2-bedroom retreat was the epitome of serenity. The property, equipped with a coffee machine and a well-stocked kitchen, provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay.
The spacious suite was impeccably furnished and had all the comforts of home, including laundry facilities. Both bedrooms featured comfortable queen-size beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the rejuvenating sauna experience, followed by a refreshing dip in the cold plunge pool.
Tanya was quick to respond and helped us with all our needs. Whether you're an avid hiker exploring East Sooke Park or simply seeking a peaceful escape, this place is the ideal choice. Our stay here was a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and natural beauty, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!
Beautiful view, well-equipped kitchen, very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, lots of space, parking and wifi available. Lots of hiking trails within close driving distance. Nice drive through forest on hilly, windy road to get to the property, easy to find with GPS
Amazing and comfortable stay. Incredible views. Communication with the host was extremely effective like I had 24/7 customer service available. Only downside is if you have a lot of stuff then it’s a bit of a walk to your suite so you will have to make couple of trips to load and unload. Otherwise, highly recommend this place.
Beautiful property but a little out of the way if you do not have a car

Nice property in a very quiet neighbourhood. Things are far away so transportation is a must. The house had a very strong smell, wasn’t able to make out what the smell was from. Also the bedsheets and pillow cases were dirty with stains and smell. It’s not an entire home but 2 bedroom basement. Mat in the bathroom was wet upon our arrival, coffee and coffee mate was expired as well.
