Your private plot opens onto the surrounding countryside and the greenhouses of the arboriculturist owner (on site: fruit/vegetable picking open to the public on Wednesdays 2pm-6pm in July/August. You can also walk to the Echappée Verte, a 13-km circuit through the hamlets, fields, and orchards of the bucolic Joué-lès-Tours region. The region's renowned tourist attractions are 20-30 minutes away (Tours city center, the châteaux of Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, and Rigny-Ussé) and 10 minutes further to the Chinon fortress. The châteaux of Chenonceau, Amboise, and Loches, and the Beauval Zoo, are less than an hour away, as are the famous Loire Valley vineyards (Chinon, Bourgueil, Vouvray, and Montlouis).
