"The house is in a nice area. It was a bit small for two couples. It would be nice for a family with 2 children. It looked like about half of nautical mile was shut for off season, but we still had fun at the establishments that were open."

"This review comes from a different perspective as we live locally, and stayed here for two weeks during home renovations. As other reviewers have noted, this is a basement apartment - the stairs are tricky and the shower door is narrow. We had to deal with some weather related issues, but the host, Al, was very responsive and helpful.Great location - convenient to restaurants, shopping and transit options (parkways/LIRR/bus) but in a quiet neighborhood. Good choice for an extended stay with a more comfortable homey feel than a hotel and all the amenities you'd need. Especially appreciated the washer/dryer and full kitchen!"
