Family with kids stay.

The size of the room and bed is very comfortable. The apartment is still brand new that requires touch up. There are plenty of eateries around the area and is close proximity to the Austin water park. If you are not expecting much except for a comfortable rest for the night and clean shower, then you'll not be disappointed. Other than that, there's nothing in the hotel except a functional gym.

West Sun to our unit, weak water pressure

Given west Sun unit to us which is supper hot during the day. Super terrible water pressure on the rain shower unit.

All in all, a rather nice stay

Location is a little far off the 2 big malls in the area, not a problem if driving. However the amount of restaurants around the immediate vicinity will leave you spoilt for choice. Room was nice and checking in was fuss free. The traffic noise from the road was rather loud and the wee hour morning prayer broadcast from a nearby mosque can be very disrupting to light sleepers.... Room was rather clean but one of the provided bath towel was very dirty looking with large patches of yellow stains. Luckily I brought my own towel. Despite the minor cons, I would still come back to stay if I am in the area due to the reasonable price and food choices nearby.

not bad weekend stay

good size room and bed, so so service as its not a full service hotel, more like a service apartment, will consider again if price is good. Oh ya, no wifi...a little off.

Ants on bed

We booked a one room apartment to stay for the night of 30 Dec. The apartment looks modern in its furnishing, with basic hotel stuff like towel and toiletries provided, no hair dryer and toilet roll almost used up. The TV was new and unblocked view was fantastic. Problems started when we settled down for the night at 1130pm. My wife complaint about itchiness and we thought it could be bed bugs. Instead, we found a couple of ants on the bed and she was bitten. We couldn't find any contact details in the apartment to raise the issue so we went down to the reception only to find that the reception closed at 11pm and nobody was around. We asked the security guard, and he couldn't offer assistance too. We found a contact card which listed a Manager's phone and we called at about him at about 12am but nobody picked up the call. We returned to the apartment to discuss what we should do next. The manager called back at 1215am, and we described the situation. The hotel is fully booked, so no room exchange. He said they cleaned the room daily, and asked if ants are big or small, which doesn't help the situation and offered to send a cleaner which we declined as it may not solve the root cause of ants on bed. The manager asked for some time. While waiting, we found new ants. After 10mins, he called back and said he couldn't find any cleaners. We told him we'll check out and leave the hotel at 1245am to drive back to SG. This is not a hotel.

A 'hotel' where the front desk closes at 11PM...

Did a last minute (paid in full) booking via Expedia while I was in Johor area. I arrived the building (it's more like a condominium than a hotel) sightly past midnight, I was told by the security guard that the person in charge had left the 'front desk' at 11PM and he will not return until the following morning. I called the person in charge's cell phone number numerous time (no answer), I also left a voice mail, requesting for him to return call. I waited for some 15 minutes and finally decided to leave the building and check in to a nearby motel. I later contacted Expedia for a refund request, Expedia staff later informed me that the person in charge did not respond to Expedia's request to investigate this incident. I am thankful that Expedia ended up offering a gift voucher to offset the payment. It is an awful experience with this hotel....

Big rooms with cheap price

The apartment is located very near to the town main activity area. Rooms are big. The only cafe in the apartment serves very nice and cheap food. Self service laundry is available. Limited room service available but not an issue for me as only staying for 2 nights. No swimming pool. Only a gym.

Overall experience is okay.

The location is good as it’s near to restaurants as well as other shops. However, the stay was more like a serviced apartment than a hotel as there’s no services such as room service. Also, there’s no wifi which is very disappointing.

They are not ready for business

Never change bed sheet, I can even smell perfume on the pillow from previous guest, floor was not clean too I can see hair every where..only cash accepted in front desk, credit card not available, mineral water not provided, no dustbin in the room, no place to hang towel in the toilet and no housekeeping throughout my 4 days 3 nights stay The only good thing is hotel is still new!
