「The hotel was a unique combination of houses and cabins. We stayed here over Labor Day weekend in one of the houses with our dog and enjoyed the hotel’s firepit and live music. I wish we had more time here to have enjoyed the pool and sauna. The walk to the river behind the hotel is through a beautiful park and a nice easy stroll.
Our room had a fireplace but it was not currently in service, a beautiful bathtub (no shower), and a comfortable king sized bed. I would recommend this place for...
「The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine. 」
「You need to be in shape to get up the steep hill. Great location near Olympic museum and the heart of Lake Placid village. Take a walk or run around Mirror lake. 」

Right across from Olympic rinks and museum. The kitchen was well stocked and having access to laundry room was great. Driving to hiking trailheads was easy and quick from this location 」
「Such a beautiful and well cared for B & B. Comfortable, cool, clean, artistic and historic. Enjoyed my stay immensely. Favorite thing was I barely saw any staff there my entire stay. I think they purposely stay out of your way unless you need something. Awesome and unexpected.
