総じて満足
お部屋は広く、その代わりバスルームは少し狭めですがとても快適に過ごせました。 フロントやレストランのスタッフも、いい意味であまり干渉せず適度な距離感で私は好きです。朝食、夕食、バーも利用しましたが、とても美味しくいただけました。 ひとつ難点なのはお部屋付けが出来ないこと。デポジット払ってるのになぜこんなシステムなんだろう？ 周辺は安全なように見えますが、５分でも歩かないほうがいいようです。 フロントに言えば、どんなに近くでも送迎してくれます。 夜間のセキュリティもしっかりしているようで、常に見回りしてくれています。 パイロットさん、CAさんも宿泊されていたので安全なホテルなのだと思います。

Southern Sun Rosebank was only two blocks from the Rosebank Mall and the City Sightseeing bus. It's an easy walk but the hotel also has an hourly shuttle service to/from the mall for free. This came in handy after dinner when we didn't want to walk at night. The hotel was clean, the restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner. The hotel staff was helpful and everyone was super nice. I would stay here again.

Good accommodation, poor customer service
Place was clean and conveniently located. Customer service was disappointing. I requested for them to write a congratulations note in the room as this was a booking I made for my brother who just got married. They reassured that they would but nothing was done.

Our 1st visit to Jo-burg (& S Africa) Great location - we were easily able to walk to the site seeing bus, dining and train to airport. Breakfasts were great They did not seem to have the airport shuttle for a fee listed.

We are so disappointed with what happened at the hotel. It is actually shocking. There was a water leas in the lobby and we were asked to stand outside, 4 hours in the rain and I got extremely ill and then they shifted us to another hotel, down graded me to a standard room from a suite, and made me check out at 11am with a high fever. I am also going to complain to the regulator and want compensation for my inconvenience and illness from the hotel.

Dear Ms De Ridder,My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused during the incident on Monday evening as well as the fact that you fell ill overnight. Please see below statement on the events that occurred as it more than a water leak which resulted in the hotel being evacuated and guests moved to other properties.Tuesday, 14 November 2023, Rosebank, Johannesburg: Southern Sun Rosebank experienced damage from a severe hailstorm on Monday evening when the roof above the hotel restaurant collapsed under the sudden build-up of ice and water from the storm. Emergency services were quickly on the scene to secure the area. No serious injuries were reported, and all guests were evacuated and relocated to Southern Sun’s hotels nearby. The hotel is closed for an evaluation and repair, and impacted reservations are being transferred to the group’s other hotels.On the evening we collected as many blankets as we could for guests from the areas of the hotel we were permitted into by the emergency services, we also arranged shelter from the rain at the police station across the road which many guests made use of.I do you hope are feeling better and have a better understanding now of the incident that occurred resulting in the events that followed that evening.All the bestAnthony

Terrible stayover
I had a terrible stay over at this hotel. At about 22h00 it was really hot in my room. When I turned on the aircon it didn't work. I called the main desk and they said they would send a maintenance person. I called again after a half hour and the front desk said I must wait until the morning. I was unbearably hot and could not sleep the whole night. It is a claustrophobic room. I complained the next morning and the staff shrugged their shoulders. I was not offered a change in room with assistance to take my luggage across. I will never stay here again!!!

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the culinary of Rosebank. Close proximity to amazing restaurants and nightlife within a 10 min walk. Staff are very professional and special kudos to Hendrik (barista for amazing coffees) and Sinhle and team at the Circle Bar. Wonderful customer service and a great place to stay in Johannesburg. I was overall happy with the stay. The Deluxe room is rather small, staff overall were nice and helpful, except for the manager who told me (after I had already paid half day for late check-out and needed on additional hour) that if I would "come one minute after" the agreed time, I would be charged the full night, in no uncertain terms. I was one of several guests attending a conference and not really sure what caused such hostile tone. Otherwise fine and uneventful.

The staffs and services are impeccable. Property is in a good condition and in a relative safe neighborhood, all things considered. Food in the restaurant on site are a few options with good quality. Didn’t like the dirty carpet in the room though. Overall, it’s a great stay.

The hotel lobby has been updated and thr breakfast is excellent. But thats about it. Thr rooms are old and small, the bathroom is cramped the the shower leaked, the stafd are nice but i had issues with them at check out. I wont atay here again. Not a 4 star hotel
