We booked here because we wanted to visit the Apartheid museum and was much further away than was listed. Although it had a security gated entrance the neighborhood was sketchy. Room was clean but no elevator. Nice and helpful staff

They don't change sheets the rooms had no shower gel since day one and you get sanitary plastic only once after that nothing.... The tabs were liking it seems like the is no maintenence in the hotel.... The remotes we mixed up or not working

Its difficult 2 run a hotel but easy 2 run it down

They have a R100 cash deposit for the key which we didnt know about. After some time staring at each other the receptionist said its okay. There was no wifi at all and the staff didnt really seem to care. The bathroom light wasnt working which I informed them the next morning and they came to replace the bulb after 17h00 the next day when we were resting. No hot water, just luke warm. They seem to clean the room everything the eye can see, but under the bed the dust are piling up. Beds are comfy. Only 2 channels on the TV was without static. Beautiful art in the hotel. Some mold spots on the wall and ceilings

Experience at Lido-General Condition of the Hotel

The Hotel wall are visibly dirty, the carpets in the passages are very very with stains even complained at reception. Their water is not drinkable, it is a borehole and they are not even offering drinking water knowing their water is not drinkable.

A very refreshing place 😉

It was beautiful, we loved it😅 The security guy was super friendly, he made us feel so welcome😉Our room was very nice and cozy. Tv was very boring though 😕 enjoyed chilling outside in the pool.
