The property is on the quiet side of the city but still close to the center city and restaurants. Close to the Lehigh George State Park. 3 blocks away from grocery and wine stores . Pizzeria is around the corner.
The house has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom on the first floor , but there is access to the 3 floor with additional bedroom. Please let me know if you need to use it.
For a larger party, we can open the second apartment ( 3 bedrooms one bathroom)

周辺情報

  • This is one of my favorite hiking trails! It consists of 3 big waterfalls as you ascend to the top. Be cautious though you need real hiking boots to hike the trail. It’s extremely slippery because of the waterfalls and we went on a day where it rained so it was even worse. Most people make their way up the side of the waterfalls, which involves a lot of climbing on rocks and using your hands. It gets very crowded so we went up the "flatter" trail most people use to go down, which made for a really good work out, and started from the top waterfall and made our way down. This is not a kid friendly place. The trail is dangerous and difficult. There were warning signs everywhere saying to wear the correct shoes and that people have died here, but there were so many people there with their small children who were having lots of trouble climbing and so many people with flip flops. Also no one here had any hiking etiquette about letting others pass. Regardless, this is one of my favorite trails.

We really enjoyed our time staying here! The property was perfectly clean and well-equipped and located very conveniently to downtown Jim Thorpe. Our dog loved the fenced yard. The owners were communicative and kind, too. Would definitely recommend!

A Spacious Place

Great place for a family or group with lots of space to spread out. This is a very family friendly place with three porches, covered and open and a good sized yard. Lots of outdoor furniture and equipment. Truly walkable to everything in Jim Thorpe and within easy driving reach of many park areas.

Loved the surrounding sceneries you get to enjoy from the balcony. The house itself was nice, although we found a lot of expired products left in the kitchen closets. Nonetheless would still recommend the place.

Great stay

My friend her dog and my dog had a wonderful stay! The house is perfect if you're traveling with dogs. The yard was perfect for playing and the home is spacious! Beds are very comfortable and heat works really well! We like to walk. It's an easy walk into downtown But if you prefer driving, it's two minutes. There's also a bar two blocks away, Union public house, that has a large food menu and allows dogs inside. Also a sub shop and pizza within walking distance. It was a great and comfortable stay!

House was clean, warm and well stocked. Plenty of space for all our couples and two puppers! We rented the top floor/ extra bedroom too and be warned, the only bathroom is on bottom floor so just be aware and don't leave your nightime run, to the last minute! Wonderful vacation home

The house is a lot bigger than what the pictures showed and perfect for a family of 4/5 and very close to town The host was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. 10/10 recommend!

The property was very clean and exactly as pictured. Accessing was smooth and the owner was responsive to the few questions I had. The kitchen is well stocked as are extra blankets etc. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would recommend.

Nice Fall Getaway Spot

Much bigger than the pictures indicate. Was clean and comfortable. Plenty of dishes and pans. Paper products also were provided (many places have stopped doing this) Appreciated the fenced in yard with my dog. Was located away from the “busy” part of town but we were able to walk there in 15 minutes.

We loved the house so clean and spacious and Great for our dog a fenced yard , It was great to walk to pizza store, to get breakfast etc . We have stayed at alot of places every time we do our ski trip annually but this house was the best , we loved it.
