"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. "I do NOT recommend that hotel. Old style boxxy hotel from the 1980'. Super small bathroom and shower with a plastic curtain. For the toilet, you litterally stand in the shower : unacceptable. Ok it is clean and there is a small unattractive pool. It is worth no more than 50 €, a sort of ok 2 stars lodge. No Zanzibar dream at all. Breafast is ok.
