Bonito lugar cn buena ubicación pero mala atención

El hotel es pequeño pero bonito en general. Es exactamente lo que se ve en las fotos. El problema es que la atención del personal es de baja a inexistente. Por ejemplo, La reservación ofrece parqueo el cuál sí hay pero tiene un portón que solo puede abrir quién esté a cargo del hotel en el momento y en los 3 días que estuvimos ahí ni uno solo pudimos contactar a los encargados con facilidad. No hay una recepción formal ni un empleado que esté a cargo permanentemente. Tanto nosotros como otros huéspedes tuvimos que esperar horas a que apareciera algún encargado que nos permitiera sacar el carro del parqueo o meterlo. Incluso cuando se nos facilitó un número celular para llamar y evitar esta larga espera la persona encargada nunca contestó ese celular. En general todo en el hotel pareciera ser auto-gestionado por lo huéspedes. En cuanto a comodidad, puedo decir que uno de los colchones en la habitación No.2 es el peor colchón en el que he dormido en mi vida. Un colchón viejo, tieso y con muchos resortes salidos punzantes que no me permitieron dormir bien ninguna de las noches. Sé que los demás colchones en otras habitaciones no presentaron ese problema. Por lo demás estuvo bien para el precio. La ubicación es muy buena a apenas 50mts de la playa y junto varios restaurantes y bares de precios aceptables.

Buena ubicación y buen precio

El lugar está bien ubicado cerca de la playa y del centro de Jacó. Cuenta con parqueo. La piscina está bien. La limpieza en general está bien. El único detalle es que fue casi imposible que me contestaran el teléfono del hotel.

Typical Jaco place

It was a bit hard to find the hotel but after asking around we found it. The room was ok but we found leftover bottles of shampoo from previous guests in the window and one towel in the bathroom was dirty. Very good room temperature and my husband liked the bed. No breakfast included (we saw a review that said the breakfast was delicious...). The place grew on us and the distance to the beach and the main street was very short.

Basic room amenities ( e.g. shampoo has no froth, TV is awkwardly kept in the corner shelf). Hotel trident Poseidon

The photos on the website are a complete lie. The restaurant doesn’t exist and neither does the bar. There is no concierge. There’s not even a sign that says the hotel is here. The maids touched and moved personal items. Overall not the place I expected to stay at.

Good location, friendly staff and good price. We paid extra for breakfast as the reviews said it was good but the cook was never there to make the breakfast. We asked about it and they just gave us other recommendations and locations. We also got charged to attend a "pool party" while checking in that was an unorganized bikini contest. They were also remodeling the reception area and had you walking through the work area the first day and then opened the side to walk through the days after. I would stay here again if I wanted to be in the middle of everything and didn't want to spend much but don't expect too much. You get what you pay for... Except breakfast we paid for that and didn't get it

When this place was Poseidon it was one of the coolest little boutique hotels with some of the best food. Now they don't know what they are doing. I understand they are remodeling but there are ways to do so while still keeping the restaurant open. Downstairs was totally shut down and upstairs was just a jumbled mess of tables. No coffee out early in the morning? How hard is it to make some coffee and have it out for the guests? The front desk guy was very disinterested until the day I checked out and suddenly he is nice? Please....this was my 4th time in Jaco and I'll be back again but won't be staying here anymore.

This property was very pleasing. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect based on other reviews and being familiar with Jacó. I was in room 13. My king sized bed was comfortable, the AC worked very well and I had no issues with adequate hot water when taking a shower. The place next doors gets loud during the night but after 2:00am or so, the noise goes away. That didn’t bother me since my goal in Jacó is party at night, rest into the day, go to the beach and then repeat. I would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Excellent pool, enjoyed using it. Slow season, so rooms have not been used frequently. A nice touch would be for housekeeping to drag a scented mop a few times over the floor so the room smells fresh when guests arrive.

L'établissement est près de la plage.La conexion Internet n,est pas adéquate.La piscine est encombrée d'immenses jouets gonflabes.Les espaces autour ne sont jamais nettoyés.Notre chambre avait vue sur un mur.Il semble que ce soit de nouveaux propriétaires ,ils ont du travail à faire.Ils ont engagé un chef afin d'améliorer la cuisine c,est pour le mieux.

hOTELS.COM HAD WRONG INFO/ NO ROOMS AVAILABLE!!!

WE BOOKED A LATE STAY FOR THE NIGHT AND HOTELS.COM SAID 3 ROOMS AVAILABLE AND WHEN WE GOT TO HOTEL AT 11PM THEY WERE COMPLETELY FULL!! tHE OWNER DID GET US INTO ANOTHER HOTEL, BUT i AM STILL WAITING FOR REFUND FROM HOTEL.COM. dUE TO BEING OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND FINDING HOTEL WAS HECTIC I WAS NOT ABLE TO CANCEL ONLINE WHEN ALL THIS CHECKING IN HASSLE OCCURED.

Great little spot

Great stay for me. Great rate for being right near beach and in a central location in town. Wish I could have stayed longer. I didn't get to try restaurant, but it looked great and everyone said food was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi didn't work in my room, but who wants to sit in their room on vacation anyway.

Easy getaway

The parking is in the back of the building. 15 per stay. They bring you the car when you leave. Internet was good. Free breakfast was not very good. You need to pay for a good serving of protein.
