lovely condo and location

Beautiful view of the ocean up and down the beach. We enjoyed the weddings on the lawn of the Ritz Carlton next door. We would return.

Nice Location but had issues

Have stayed here before and love the location. But had several issues this time. AC was not working when we arrived, water poured in from the roof when it rained heavy and poor housekeeping from previous stay. Will probably not stay in this unit again.

Perfect view and very clean!

This experience was so easy. From Booking the property to checking in and checking out, it was hassle free. We were kept up to date with email communication that was thorough and professional. We needed a quick weekend getaway and this was perfect! The condo was extremely clean and very spacious for the three of us. The pool was clean and we had quick access to the beach. Parking was easy. We will definitely use this company again for our next beach trip!

Great Family Vaca!!

We have been going to Amelia Island for years now. Great place for family. Beach is not crowded. Restaurants are busy, but not too busy. Enough activities for all ages. Great beach for finding sharks teeth. Ocean Place Condos are our go to place to stay. Next door to Ritz. You can take advantage of their restaurants and bar if you desire.

No water, no service, no problem!

When we arrived I sent a request for repair or to answer how to on the app for several items and never received a response.then at 7pm Friday the water supply line broke to all3 buildings. It didn’t comeback on for 22 hours!!!! They told everyone that it was special commercial parts that they were gathering up. We spoke to the guys doing the work and took a picture of the special parts-a2” pvc 90 elbow. Very common actually. When we called mocks after 15 hours of no water the girl was very rude and said they dumped all this on her and it wasn’t her fault. She wouldn’t let you get a word in for over talking you. After 18 hours they brought us water. So we missed doing the things we planned to do because we hadn’t had a shower after being at the beach all day, we had toilets that couldn’t flush, no water for cooking or cleaning or showers for 22 hours and they were rude to us?!?

Great unit; great value; great execution by Mock's Amelia Vacations

What an incredible vacation we had in Unit #32 at Ocean Place in Amelia Island ! The unit was exceptional with nice appointments and extraordinary views. And it was a real pleasure working with Mock's Amelia Vacations, from start to finish; I can't say enough positive things to say about them. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and execution, so that there were no surprises from check-in to check-out. It is advertised as a penthouse unit; its furnishings, crown mouldings, bedding, and patio lived up to that description. One nice feature is the closet outside of the unit where umbrella, beach chairs and other beach items can be stored so that they don't have to be brought into the unit- much appreciated. This unit is in the Ocean Place building that is closest to the Ritz Carlton, which means the beach area down from the unit has less traffic . The beach was fairly crowded each day we were there but we never had anyone within 50 feet of our setup, so we had plenty of privacy. Great people to work with; we would definitely book through Mock's Amelia Vacations again.

location and view was great; accommodations were very disappointing

We recently rented this penthouse condominium because the website pictures looked fabulous. We were unpleasantly surprised to find that this condo need significant updating. The rugs were dirty and stained. The bedding and linens were in poor condition. The condo had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival (We found juice boxes and other debris around the condo. Some of the linens were stained and one blanket had several large tears in it) Several ceiling fans and light switches did not work. This is not what I expect when paying for a luxury rental. We have rented at Ocean Place several time in the past and paid a less money for a condo that was in good condition & we always had a good experience. This is the first and hopefully the last time we have a bad experience when renting at Ocean Place.
