The home is very spacous and worked perfectly for us. We had a funeral service for my father and it was nice to have a place to enjoy each other's company after the service- where we could have space to eat and share stories, etc.The host was very communicative and polite. We even talked about renting again for Porchfest one year. Thanks again.
The house was very nice and comfortable! There are just a few small things I’d suggest — adding some air fresheners or scents in each room, as there was a slight odor, and flipping the bathroom locks so they can be opened from the outside instead of the inside. It was a little warm at first, but once I messaged the owner, they quickly adjusted the temperature to make it cooler. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I really appreciated the quick communication and hospitality!
This was a trip with business associates while attending the Players Championship. Home was spacious and in a convenient location. Enjoyed the amenities that it offered. Very friendly and easily accessible host for communication. Recommend staying here.
This was our second stay at this location and it was perfect for us! The house was clean and spacious! The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay again!
The property is spacious, clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay (home away from home).Communication with the property manager was easy due to the quick responses.I would definitely stay at this property again. The Lee/Gittens family
The house fit our needs. We enjoyed the porch, relaxing & reading & watching the locals walk their dogs. The location worked well for us & we enjoyed Jacksonville Zoo & local museums. Any small problems we had Heather was very quick to respond and address. We would stay here again.
Casa de blues is a beautifully restored historic house in a terrific location. Within walking distance of the Jaguars stadium and also several wonderful restaurants and brewery. The owner does a wonderful job with communication and was very accommodating to a last-minute request to add an extra night. Check in and check out we’re very easy..
I recently stayed at this property in Jacksonville, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a clean, well-kept space that felt like home. The location is perfect—close to all the main attractions yet peaceful and quiet enough for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The amenities provided exceeded expectations, and the comfortable beds made for a great night’s sleep after exploring the city. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Jacksonville—I’ll definitely be coming back!
The house worked out well for 8 family members driving into town to attend a memorial service at NAS JAX. The two master bedrooms with private baths were a plus. Lots of charm to this renovated, older home. Everything in the house is adequate for a comfortable stay. Lots of parking on the street. Surprisingly a very quiet neighborhood!
We would highly recommend La Casa de Blues! Beautiful home with space for many. We had 3 adult couples staying. Everyone had their own private bedroom AND bathroom with space for more. The area was so nice and just a short easy drive to EverBank Stadium. If needing to be in the Jacksonville area, we will definitely look to reserve this home again!
We came in town for a football game and New Years Eve. I found this house just searching and we were pleasantly surprised with the location since we weren't familiar with it. The house is exactly as advertised and great for a group of friends. We walked through the neighborhood and were greeted by home owners who were very welcoming. There is a great restaurant a short walk away that we highly recommend named Uptown Kitchen Jacksonville. Communication was easy and we are already planning to book this house again.
Great for families, we brought kids, newborns and grandparents and there was a room perfect for W everyone. Fully furnished and stocked to host more than an any hotel. Forget parking lots and inconvenient amenities out of reach to average customer. This home has it all and more. All technology and appliances are up to date. The host was only a Vrbo message away and very responsive. Overall five star experience without the cost of multiple rooms at a high end hotel.
Loved how the designer of this home maintained the historic beauty and integrity of this home with renovations and updates. Lots of space. Was perfect for a family of five which included 3 teenagers. Kitchen was resourceful. Quiet neighborhood. There was an ice cream shop and food truck park that had live entertainment within walking distance. Short drive to downtown.
The property was clean and reasonably maintained. The owner/manager was easy to deal with, and the price was competitive. My only issue was the linens on the downstairs King size bed/master bedroom, the sheets felt like there was grit in them, and a slight odor. The only pillows to sleep on were the decorative pillows with the shams on them so I had to find pillowcases to put over them. Also, I think they should take more pride in their American flag. There are several in the neighborhood and this one was extremely faded and torn.

Proprrty was misadverstied
Great location, nice kitchen, roaches on wall above couch, roaches in downstairs bedroom, couches in pictures no longer there, instead the springs sprung in 4 of the 6 seats, bottoms unable to tolerate discomfort, had to bring in hard dining room chairs, wood floors need obvious sanding and refinishing, front upstairs bedroom has hot and cold water reversed and one gets steam while sitting from hot water, bottom bedroom has no pillow cases, pillow cover that matches bedspread only, no hand towels in downstairs, guest bathroom so you drip into the kitchen. This is obviously "remodeled," by an amatuer and nothing except the kitchen is adequate for rentals. Way too many shortcuts to get listed and rented. We stayed at 10/10 last year, recommend you think twice before renting this house
House is big and located in a convenient area with restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. Check in process was absolutely horrible. The reservation says the check in code would be sent on the day of check in. I added other guests to the reservation so they would have access to the code when it was sent, as they were already in the area and I would not be arriving til later. Check in was at 4pm and at 3pm the owner then decides to send a message stating to confirm guest count and house rules and then he would send the code. Why wait 1 hour before check in? I didn't see the message as I was preparing to catch a flight to Jacksonville from Norfolk. Good thing I wasn't already on the plane or the other guests would have been waiting outside for hours. No need to wait until an hour before check in to send a message just to get confirmation on the rules. That can be done days in advance and the code added to the reservation like it states that it would. All around unpleasant check in process. Grass was also not cut and the tv with internet apps did not work, kept freezing and cutting out due to low storage.
A perfect space 3 couples shared for 1 night to attend a concert at the Florida Theater. In an older neighborhood where most homes have been remodeled. We felt safe walking to a nearby restaurant. House was updated but some issues were encountered needing attention. We are vacation rental managers in PCB our guests sometimes write a bad review when all they needed to do was call us upon arrival to take care of any issues. We felt uneasy due o the host's last minute instructions for check in finally provided on the day of check in by email & door code was not sent until 30 minutes prior to check in time and no contact phone number if we needed assistance and no check out info. Since only there for 1 night issues upon arrival could not be corrected with a phone call. None of the beds had pillows with clean pillow cases no pillows available in closets or dresser drawers. Only pillows provided had pillow shams matching comforters Minor issues toilet upstairs bathroom plumbed with hot water shower in same bathroom did not have hot water. Downstairs master bedroom did not have a TV the closet full of housekeeping supplies. All other bedrooms had TVs. We reported the issues the next morning via email and the host assured us they would be corrected for the enjoyment of future guests. We encourage our guests not to leave home without their check in instructions. We
recommend this host do the same for future guests and we would stay again.
The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, and all appliances were spotless and worked perfectly. The neighborhood was friendly, and the community felt safe and welcoming. I had no safety concerns during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this listing.”
The property was very large and easy to spread out as a family. It was a quick drive to the venue (Vystar). We also enjoyed dinner, drinks, and breakfast just a few blocks away in downtown Springfield area. The house was very comfortable and charming. I would definitely stay again!
