I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay with us. We do not turn our fireplaces on during the summer season because it causes the rooms to heat up too quickly. The process for turning them on in winter season requires us to shut down the property for one day to ensure all fireplaces are in safe operation, so it is not a simple process to turn a fireplace gas on. The room type you booked is clear that it offers either a balcony or a Juliet balcony. While we know you requested a balcony, it is processed as a request and not confirmed. We stand behind the quality of our breakfast program, as it compares to a lot of breakfasts as much better in town.We delivered on what we offer during your stay, and have discussed more specific details via email.

Hi there William. Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your stay. The room you booked did have a Juliet balcony, as displayed on our booking site. It looks like Expedia does have that listed as a balcony, so we appreciate you bringing that to our attention so we can have them correct it. Otherwise, we do not advertise to have refrigerator's or coffee in the rooms, and the differences between each room type are displayed through both our booking site as well as Expedia's. Irons and Ironing boards are available upon request from the Front Desk. Our breakfast program is ranked well above most others in the area, so we are disappointed to hear you considered it "underwhelming." We want all of our guests to get the most of their experience, and really enjoy what makes our bed and breakfast so special. In order to do so, we always encourage our guests to contact us with questions prior to booking so their is no confusion upon arrival. If you'd like to discuss more details regarding your stay, please don't hesitate to reach out. We hope with a better understanding of what our property has to offer, you may consider giving us a second chance.

The photos displayed are all labeled with the appropriate room types. We do have rooms that are off the garden area, displayed as our Garden Level King Room. It looks like you had booked a Grand Two Queen, and actually were checked into the same room that was photographed for the website. I am sad to hear that you will not be giving us a second chance, but perhaps you might consider our sister property, The Anvil, in the future.

Hey Stacey! Thank you for your feedback and details about your experience. Doors are to be locked and turned over to key reader access at 5pm, so I will address this with the rest of the team. We also have a security team that patrols the area, as well as cameras, and feel that our hotel is a very safe place to stay. I understand your desire to have a microwave or a refrigerator, however we do not advertise that we offer those amenities so that should not be an expectation upon arrival. I can understand the frustration regarding wanting a sort of continental breakfast option for early risers, we will definitely take that into consideration! The sauna is accessible 24/7, and does not require staff assistance, I apologize for the misinformation there and will review this with the team. I will say that Glorietta is our restaurant, despite not being physically attached to the building. We operate to other hotels on the same block, and Glorietta's location is central to all three and therefore a convenient dining option for all of our hotels.
