Budget hotel with poor facilities

From the reviews, this looks like a great place. Reviews can be misleading! No doubt, the security is excellent with fingerprint access only to the hotel - which is great once you are checked in. But BANG LOUDLY on the gate when you first arrive otherwise you'll be sleeping in the car park. The rooms are very small and extremely cheaply furnished.Everything in the room is minimalist, one towel each, soap not refilled on service, trash only cleared if you ask. There is no airconditioning and they will not provide fans, so it is stifilingly hot until 2-3 in the morning. The wifi is extremely patchy and only really works near the reception. The pool however is first class although a little cold even in hot weather. It takes about 10 minutes to drive into Cuenca (free parking at the top of the old town).

LAS FOTOS NO CORRESPONDEN CON LOS PRECIOS

Alquilé una habitación cuando creí que estaba alquilando la casa por las fotos, en la página de hoteles no diferencian de que hay dos tipos de estancia Tuve que pagar más.Imaginaros mi disgusto al llegar No era el primero, pero dicen que los de hoteles no les hacen caso. Si no es por esto no hubiera ido MALO -Este engaño "inintencionado" con las fotos y la indiferencia.La sensación que se te queda de entrada es muy mala por muy buena que sea la estancia -Servicio habitaciones:hacen las camas y ya. No cambiaban la basura, el papel y toallas 2-3 dias, la parte de la cocina se desentienden. una de las sábanas una mancha rojiza que daba mal rollo -No hay espacio si vas con niños, el armario es ínfimo tras un espejo sin puertas y los cajones que hay son abiertos. El baño lo mismo Al final tienes todo por la habitación lo que resta el espacio -Materiales: una de las piedras del cabecero suelta y te puede dar, las paredes de papel se oye TODO, y una vez olimos el servicio de al lado Sólo hay dos enchufes y ocupados, llévate alargador -la piscina helada imposible bañarse.Supongo que en verano es menos problema BUENO -con niños es genial:bonito tranquilo verde buenas pistas bar juegos piscina columpios etc..En bungalow mejor.Para comer un restaurante cercano. El sitio es seguro -A 5 minutos de Cuenca en coche -Están ahi para cualquier cosa y tienen muy buena actitud se agradece mucho -habitación bonita agradable luminosa, y no hemos pasado frio -Bien calidad-precio

Sólo dos días y podemos decir que estamos encantados. No hay 'peros'. El lugar, el servicio, la sensación de 'no querer irte', te hacen querer volver. Si alguien quiere sentir lo que es 'estar en familia', sin perder su indepencencia, debe probar un lugar/una gente como esta. Volveremos

We found the staff to be absolutely charming, equally the location, secluded and tranquil. The accommodation, self-catering, is very comfortable and impeccably clean. There are a few practicalities about finding the place. By putting the post code into the GPS, you are taken to a point from where it is still unclear where to find it, albeit not far, so signs from the stone pillars would be very helpful. When you arrive, it's likely to be necessary to phone and the number provided on the booking website is no longer applicable. If such things as these could be sorted, it would be of immense help - though I appreciate that the phone number situation is not necessarily the fault of the hotel. We have already gone back for a second stay and intend to return, as we think it's a terrific place to stay.

Great suite away from noise of the city

Lovely cabins, clean, well-equipped for a short stay, large rooms, only downside was wifi does not work in the cabins as they are too far from the main complex, also they have wood-burning fireplaces so smelled a bit smoky. Pool was closed for maintenance during our stay due to poor weather but looked like it would be great for a hot day! Staff was helpful and pleasant. Parking was great, secure, on-site and easily accommodated our large car.

Buen fin de semana en Cuenca

Hemos estado muy agusto en estas casas rurales, muy bien cuidadas y con muy buena atención por parte de los dueños. Están muy bien situadas, muy cerca de Cuenca y con todos los servicios. Seguro que este verano, cuando abran la piscina, nos haremos otra escapa.. Tenis, Padel, Zona de juegos, Terraza de verano...con todo esto y tan cerca de Cuenca es para nosotros (familia estandar de 4 personas con un quinceañero y una niña que le falta poco...), ideal para pasar buenos ratos todos juntos. Recomendable 100% Un saludo a todos.

Fueron tres dias, en un lugar rodeado de naturaleza, muy cerca de la capital Cuenca, recomendable para parejas de enamorados y para familias con hijos, hay pistas de tenis, piscina y lugar para corretear todo cerrado sin peligro para los hijos dejarlos a su aire.

Fun and comfortable family stay

The rural house that we stayed in was great. Two bedrooms, super clean, and all the amenities needed. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The beds were a little on the hard side but overall, everything was comfortable, good shape and clean. I highly recommend staying in these two bedroom cottages at Hotel Rural Arco Iris if traveling with children. There's everything there to keep everyone having fun and relaxed. There is a playground, bar, games, pool, catering, tennis court, its great!
