J. E. Reeves Victorian Home & Carriage House Museum

We checked in at 3pm. We got to the room and it was wrecked, like someone just left. Towels all over the floor, sheets all over the place, trash by the door inside, ended up giving us a new room, AC was poor but at least this one wasn't a total mess. The breakfast was good. The people at the front desk were kind. Only complaint from us was housekeeping. Poor job on their end.

Took forever to check in. Room smelled like mold and we were itching all night. Had to triple check that we didn't have bed bugs. Still not sure we didn't. Asked for a warmer blanket & had to call back to the desk over an hour later because it was never brought to us. Then asked if I was going to come get the blanket & I said if I have to, but I'd prefer not to, since I had to ask twice. Definitely not worth the price I paid for the room. Not very happy about that. We use hotels often and have never been so dissatisfied. I'm going to reach out and ask for a refund for the room. First time ever for us asking for a refund. That's how bad it was
