I have given to Kordon hotel 5 stars , do you know why ? Because the first point was their trustworthy staff, actually I left some valuable items and some cash money there and checked out after my trip I found that I left those , they contacted me and explained to me all the items and then delivered to my friend completely, I appreciate and admire such a nice persons , the second one was nice welcome, clean room and polite staff . Thanks to Expedia for introducing such a hotel and all the hotel staffs

We were upgraded to a suite and was able to check in early, which was much needed after a long travel day! Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of variety at the buffet breakfast.

I had one overnight stay at the hotel. Checkin was quick and the room allocated was very nice, spacious, comfortable and quiet. A eat an evening meal in the hotel cafe. The food was nice and reasonably priced. I had a relaxing sleep in the large comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold options available. All of the staff I encountered during my brief stay were friendly and helpful. I would stay at the hotel again if I was passing through Izmir. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the waterfront. On my night of arrival I had to get a taxi from the bus station to the hotel approx £10. On the day of my department I had to get a taxi from the hotel to the airport approx £24.

The hotel is located in the heart of Izmir and it is well-connected. The staff was so friendly. We booked the deluxe room, it was so spacious and clean. We easily found parking for our car. We definitely will come back

It’s a wonderful property in the heart of Izmir City . It’s very near the tram and the areas around are easily walkable . We enjoyed our stay here . The staff were particularly very helpful in helping us adjust our room , especially Mr Anil The rooms could replace some of their bedding and towels as they appear to be over used and old . Overall , it’s a good stay for a short visit

Its a nice hotel in the middle of everything making it walkable and a great location to stay affordably. The pool is in a deep dark basement and looks like the set of a horror movie so we left it alone, but otherwise two thumbs up!

stayed for 4 nights with Family in rooms 109/110 - connected rooms. overall hotel was good - clean, friendly staff and location is great, walkable to almost everywhere while being quite. Only problem we faced was that our rooms were directly opposite to the elevators and area in front of elevators is not carpeted, therefore everyone walking from and to the elevators with their bags woke us up...

Historic Stay

We have enjoyed our stay at the Kordon! The couples massage was excellent! Front desk staff was very informative and friendly. We are here looking at historic sites. The 2,000 + year old agora is a twelve minute walk from the hotel! The listing, however was, misleading. There is NO airport transfer from the hotel. We had to arrange our own.

Hotel was in a good location for my business trip. However I chose this hotel because it stated it had a gym and swimming pool, but the swimming pool was closed and the gym was dysfunctional apart from a running machine and a few weights there was nothing else.

The property is more at the level of bed & breakfast than a 4 start hotel. The rooms are so old & dark, like the entrance of the room has a corridor where the wardrobe is & there with not a single light in that area of the room. Cleanness of the sheets and towels were questionable, looked they’ve been used for a decade and washed hundred times. There is no parking so they basically tale the key and park your vehicle in a very narrow alley at your risk. In the bright side, the breakfast was nice and we didn’t expect that after getting let down by seeing the room. I wouldn’t fault the hotel but it is not at the 4 star level hotel at all and it’s way too old building that need serious renovation. At least to change the windows so you don’t hear all the noise of the street

Decent Hotel With Helpful Staff

The cleaning and valet staff were the best part of the hotel...Always very friendly and helpful. The suite rooms are comfortable and very large; perfect for our small family. Our 2 year old son had plenty of space to run around. We had an issue where the ceiling plaster surrounding the showerhead fell down into the shower and created a hole in the ceiling. We informed the staff and they had put in a temporary fix (tape) by the time we returned that evening. They offered to move our room but as it happened on the last day of our stay, we decide to not go to the trouble of moving. Breakfast was decent but the same thing was served all 5 days we were there. Some breakfast variety would be nice. The hotel is in a good location for walking with restaurants and shops nearby. There is limited parking on the street so we used the free valet parking service each time we went out and came back in. All in all, not a bad place to stay.

Very convenient, located in between Alsancak and Konak. Walking distance to all major attractions, shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed the suite room. Internet was sufficient. Breakfast was great.
