気になった点 : スタッフとサービス、設備とサービス
イスタンブールのトランジットで空港周辺の無料朝食付きのホテル検索で予約。 チェックイン時、朝食の確認をすると、確認すると告げられそのまま放置で朝に。朝食に向かうとなぜか別途料金がかかると言われ、無料朝食付きの内容を説明するも，放置され予約方法を見せてやっと納得。しかし、その後にタクシーを手配を頼むと一人にも関わらず大型タクシーが到着。時間もなかったので2倍の料金を払い空港へ。 チェックイン時にもベットメイクがされておらず、トルコの旅がとてもよかっただけに、残念な気持ちになりました！これも旅の勉強ですね！

I guess,it's good for the price, but they have no shuttle there. You either order a transfer in advance or take a taxi. I was lucky to talk to a dispatcher in a booth who said it was $10 and I insisted I will not pay more when talking to the taxi driver. If I did not do it I could have been asked for any sum imaginable. On the way back to the airport I arranged it with the guy at the reception for $15. He was the intermediary with the Taxi driver. But during the whole of the drive the taxi man was tormenting me with the complaints that it was not enough - one hand on the wheel, the other on a telephone translator. Nobody speeks English. The pressure caused a terrible head ache and spoiled the rest of the trip. Besides, they do not serve breakfast early. Next time I will choose a more reputable hotel.

Great staff.
The host seems to be honest and that’s important in a country where many are not. The place was cheap and the price was good compared to what you get, good value for the money.

The hotel is clean and customer service is top-notch! If you are staying for a night or two it is amazing but if you want to explore Istanbul city it will take you at least 3 hours to get there through public transportation and at least an hour if you rent a car.

Hotel is nice but in an industrial area. There’s also no shuttle back and forth from airport - just their private car which is pretty expensive. Nothing much to do around here. So if you have more than a few hrs layover in Istanbul, you’re better off being in town. Bus to Istanbul mall takes about an hour. And taxi will cost around 400TL each way.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Shelton Otel. Highly recommended. Clean and tidy room. Very close to airport. Amazing reception (Fettah) who helped a lot.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you have an overnight layover at the Istanbul airport. It was only a 14min drive by taxi from the airport.

It was good overall and very accessible if you want to be close to the airport....you can catch the bus on the corner all the way down to old istanbul.
