快適なイスタンブール生活を過ごせました

イスタンブールへの友人との個人旅行で４泊しました。イスタンブール旧市街の中心地にほど近く、どこへ行くのもほぼ徒歩でＯＫという便利な立地です。部屋のメンテナンスも行き届いており、快適に過ごせました。朝食はビュッフェで野菜が多く満足のいくものでした。値段に比してパフォーマンスの良い宿だったと思います。

お買い得で快適だった

バスタブは広く長めで最高でした。予約したタイミングが良かったのか、大変割安で利用できました。坂のあるところにあるのも愛嬌です。周りにはたくさんレストランもあって選択に迷うところです。

I booked this hotel only because Turkish Airline, which is excellent, provided a free stop over night there, so I booked additional 4 nights to save the hassle of changing hotels. I was under assumption that this was a 4-star hotel. It is not. The hotel is very dated and tired. The steps leading to the foyer are all broken. The furnishings are circa 70s, well worn and in need of replacement. We were given a room with three single beds, even though we booked queen. The free breakfast was so terrible that we chose to eat at a lovely restaurant across the road. Turkey has beautiful food, however not at this hotel. When we asked for directions, the hotel staff informed us that the information is down the road, where you can buy maps etc. This information centre, 10 minutes away, is always closed. Turkish airways is letting its reputation down with this hotel.

Better the 2nd time around!

This is my second stay at Grand Yavuz in three weeks. I must say this time my rating is higher-- the wifi system is much improved! We have four rooms booked and all of us appreciated the fixes they made to wifi. Recommend this hotel for walking to old city attractions (grand bazaar, egyptian bazaar, trolley line, hagia sofia, blue mosque). Also a safe nighttime neighborhood even for single women walking.

Good location.Comfortable.Needs technology upgrade

Easily walk to blue mosque, grand and Egyptian bazaars, Ayasofia, trolley and ferries. Breakfast options good. Rooftop bar with Bosporus and views of all sites was a hidden gem. Wifi was inadequate. Slow with one device but three devices in same room made it non functional (there was no major downloading/streaming happening). We had multiple rooms on different floors and this was consistent in every room and lobby. Also the room keys in 2 of the 4 rooms had to be replaced multiple times.

The staff were great and honest. We got our luggage downstairs to leave and upon checkout, the clerk said you left your phone in the room because the cleaner rang immediately before we left the hotel. The honesty and care was unmatched

The staff was very helpful. The area was safe and walkable. Good options all around for shopping and public transport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds could be a little better.

The pictures on website are nothing like reality, especially the breakfast buffet. In the photos for breakfast, the entire counters filled with food and fruit, in reality there was less than half the food pictured. Only some cheese, meat, 2 cereals, boiled eggs and bread. No fruit. The sitting areas and lounges are kept in the dark, no lights turned on and none of the window shades pulled up... it was very dark and creepy. They do not provide irons or extra water bottles, you have to pay for both, which is very inconvenient. However, location is great, about 15 min walk from Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar.

Schlechtes WLAN Begründung Zuviele Gäste. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Wenn das so ist , missen die ihre Hardware anpassen. WIFI ist heute Standard. Gerade dann wenn es ein 4 Sterne Hotel sein soll. Das ist es aber bei weitem nicht. Maximal 3 Sterne. Frühstück war nichts besonderes. Personal war aber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich werde das Hotel nicht wieder buchen.

Les images et la taille des chambres sont totalement différentes de ce qui est annoncé sur Expedia. Le personnel a refusé de nous donner une chambre de la taille que nous avions reservé. Si vous reservez une chambre de 18 m2 et que vous vous retrouvez avec une chambre de 12m2 on se sent un peu lesé. Le petit déjeuner est plus que médiocre. L'hotel est vraiment veillot. Je pense qu'il y a de bien meilleurs deals dans le quartier

Hotel was in a good location and they allowed us to check in early, however was advertised as having free parking. When we arrived we had no place to park and all nearby parking facilities were full. We managed to find a parking area that charged 70 lira for the amount of time we needed but that only lasted until 7pm. This meant we had to risk street parking quite a distance away which could have also resulted in a ticket. The staff were really nice and offered us a complimentary pack lunch because we checking out early and would miss out on breakfast.

Замечательный отель. Чисто и уютно. Ежедневно около рецепшена с 10 утра русскоговорящий дружелюбный сотрудник - азербайджанец. Коллектив очень корректный,учтивый не наглый, денег за какие то доп. услуги не вымогают. В номере очень чисто, убираются в номере и меняют полотенца ежедневно. Также имеется кондиционер, фен итд. По телевизору показывают только один русскоговорящий канал. И тот заточен на какие то релегиозные темы. Отель территориально распологается рядом с пятизвезднычным "Айва". Расположение хорошее, практически в центре старого города. В целом всем рекомендую не пожалеете.
