「First, let me start this review by saying that my wife and Children were so impressed by everything, we were unable to find a single thing that could be improved upon. The breathtaking view was the first thing we noticed and continued to admire throughout the 3-night stay. 「Great place to stay. Everything on their island was amazing. Easy to coordinate pickup with the boat, great food, kayaks to explore the area and great swimming right from your room. 」

「Friendly and helpful service from the staff. For example, Laurent at reception organised a walking tour of Maderas volcano for me. The rooms on the first floor with volcano views from the veranda are great - worth paying extra for. Tasty, generous breakfast. Good location, walkable to ferry, and shops and restaurants of Moyogalpa. 」

「The place seemed nice at first Big room lots of space So many bugs!!!! Even a scorpion in the bathroom. But it was clean and the ac and the pool were amazing. 」

「Very beautiful and historic hotel. Staff went absolutely above and beyond, they were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, pool was super nice and had lots of seating. One thing to note, is because of the historic nature of the hotel, there's not much for insulation/noise cancelling streetside. So if you have little kids, best to book an interior room if you go to bed early!」
