Communication from the concierge team could be more proactive and responsive, especially when addressing ongoing issues during a guest’s stay. The property itself is in need of updates and renovations. The pool, for example, was noticeably dirty with an unpleasant odor, and the wooden seating within the pool is deteriorating and chipping, which poses both a comfort and safety concern. During our stay, the water service was shut off 4 out of 5 days, which created major inconvenience. Additionally, our bathroom was not functioning properly and would not flush, leaving us in unsanitary conditions for several days. The lack of warm water further added to the discomfort. While the service at the restaurants and bars was excellent and truly appreciated, the beach area was often left unmaintained, with seaweed accumulating and not being cleared until guests began cleaning it themselves. I would strongly recommend that management implement routine walkthroughs of all common areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction. This property is in a stunning location and has so much potential. I would love to return in the future once improvements have been made."

Joseph at the bar? Top tier. My guy remembered drinks, kept the energy right, and made sure we were always good without us even asking. That kind of service don’t go unnoticed. Beach staff stayed on it too—super attentive, always making sure chairs were set, drinks were flowing, and you didn’t have to lift a finger. Just show up and relax, that’s it. Now let’s talk about the food… whew. Every meal hit. You can tell the chef takes real pride in what’s coming out that kitchen—flavor on point, presentation clean, and variety that keeps it interesting. And room service? Quick, fresh, and actually worth ordering, which is rare. Overall, Almare didn’t miss. If you’re looking for a spot where the service matches the scenery, this is it. I’d run this trip back without hesitation."

"Food was average. Rooms were missing essential items like an ice bucket. Used items weren’t replaced each day ie: coffee supplies and hand towels. Adults only area was lacking in shade/umbrellas. Staff was friendly and accommodating. "
