"My room had a strong smoke smell I asked the front desk if it was a nonsmoking room they said yes it was and if they could give us other room i was willing to pay the difference in price for a upgrade they said they couldn’t move us to other room because they were booked. We went to buy all kind of stuff to make it smell better and we air the room all the time it wasn’t pleasant. Also the jacuzzi it wasn’t working and the pool was no well maintained there were ducks swimming in it and duck poop at the bottom."

"The air-conditioning was functional and easy to use. I noticed a burning smell when the heat was turned on. The bed wasn’t great, but serviceable for a short visit. There is only one ice machine in the pool area, which was inconvenient. The staff were friendly and pleasant to interact with. Early check-in was a plus. There are an only few food options that are a walkable distance in the area: IHOP, Pizza Hut and Chick-fil-A."

"Extensive breakfast that's complimentary and they give you a bottle of water in your room. A quick walk from the convention center, and other downtown amenities. The hotel is on the flight path for the SJC airport and the walls are thin so you will here airplane and door slamming noises. The room itself was fine, but three items needed tending to. I told the staff and they seems genuinely concerned about fixing them. "

"I would skip this hotel if you plan to spend any time except sleeping in your room. The TV was fuzzy and only had a few working channels, no option to connect to the Internet or even stream from your phone. There was no hand soap, we were told to use the face wash bars to wash our hands. The water pressure was terrible and lukewarm most of the time. There is no microwave in the room, only a mini fridge that did not get very cold. There is a Keurig though. Despite the issues it was clean and the staff were all very kind. The housekeepers were thorough and the beds were made and fresh towels put up, they even organized the bathroom when it was a mess after getting ready. Expensive but decent place to sleep, otherwise not great to spend time there. "
