「Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone. Plenty of free parking on site. Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France. Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. 「Excellent stay at the property. It was very clean and tidy with everything that we would need for a night's stay before contuining south. The grounds are secured by gates. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, with great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely return. 」

「This is a lovely 'gites' and an excellent choice for a two adults and two older children. There's quite a steep staircase to a mezzanine floor where the kids beds are so it may not be so good for smaller children. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The family apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated and is situated in the old groundskeeper's lodge. Best of all you get a massive garden in the back to yourself, and a covered and secluded hottub too. Excellent!」
