Good room condition and amazing mountainous view. The building is not brand new, but enough to have relaxed sleep. Located in abt 5 mins on foot from Interlaken West station. You can catch a bus in front of the hotel to go to Interlaken OST station, which take a few mins. You can also walk to the station in15 mins. If you expect luxurious time and space, recommend looking for other accommodation.

立地の良い清潔なホテル
清潔で快適なホテル。フロントの対応も好感持てます。ユングフラウも正面に見え立地も良い。バスタブがないのが唯一のマイナス。

旧正月のタイミングであったため、ロビーには沢山の中国人がいてまるで品川プリンスホテルのようでした。もっと閑静な時期に行きたかったと少し後悔しています。 ホテル自体は悪くないですし、窓からの眺めもとても良かったですが、有料のWifiのつながりが悪かった点がいただけない。無料でアクセスできる施設の多いヨーロッパにおいて、有料でありながら客室に電波が届きにくいというのは無視しがたい問題だと思いました。

Location is good. First of all, however, temperature of water is up and down really bad. Both my wife and myself burned our body while taking shower and even receptionist confirmed that this hotel has an issue with controlling water temperature. You should skip the shower while staying in this hotel. Secondly, bed mattress is really uncomfortable. Receptionist told me that my room was not renovated. It seems like this hotel is not using same mattress for all their rooms. Make sure to check before you check-in. Maybe you have to pay more! I was too poor since i selected cheapest room to get extremely uncomfortable mattress. You can't sleep well with this mattress at all!! Third, you can hear everything from hallway. I can tell you guys that housekeepers are working very hard. Lastly, please remember that this hotel is historical. Heater was not working properly but don't worry! They have portable heater! If you are spending a lot of time with activities and make yourself exausted, i recommend this hotel because you are going to sleep well anyways.

We enjoyed our stay here so much its been one of our fave places in europe so far. The accommodation was cosy but also spacious and the views phenomenal, the area was beautiful, lots of shops and restaurants near by and only a short walk from the station.

I had no problems with the room except for this extreme construction noise which began at 9:50 AM on the floor above mine ( on the 7th while they gave me a room for 2 nights on 6th). At 1PM the drilling was still continuing when I left for the afternoon. The staff said they were renovating rooms. Even ear plugs did not keep out the very loud disagreeable drilling. The hotel gave me a ticket for a free drink when I talked to them about it. They said it would end by 5PM. At about $250 a night I did not expect this degree of noise! The hotel was fine otherwise but the noise was a huge disappointment. I did get a shuttle ride to the railroad station when I left and free coffee in the spa. There was no noise at night- only during daytime hours when construction was at work.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the train stations and most of the places. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very friendly, especially the front office staff Ramon S. (hope I spell his name correctly). When he found out it was my husband's birthday during our stay, he made it special for us by arranging a cake to be sent to our room for my husband's birthday. It really made our stay so special! Our room has a view of the Alps and the paragliders. Sitting on the balcony watching the views and the paragliders was an amazing experience! We really enjoyed our stay there!

Hotel has a great location, right in the center by the park. Great views of Alps and the para-gliders landing in the park. Hotel is clean, lobby is nice and inviting, staff are friendly. It’s a great hotel if you want to stay in town and don’t want to spend a fortune. We just slept there, was out and about all day anyway, so hotel was perfect. It’s not a pretty “Swiss Hotel”, it’s a cement 10 story cement building in the middle of a Swiss village. Doesn’t look great, but as I said, it’s a clean hotel with excellent service and staff, and reasonable price in a perfect location.

Perfect location to book your stay in Interlaken. It is right opposite the big park where all the paragliders land and mostly all the events take place. It is walking distance from bus station called Jungfraustrasse Interlaken. You can catch a 21 or 103 from the OST station. The staff was very hospitable. Marko who was from Portugal was very kind, Azam the front office manager, Crystal at front office was really good who arranged a shuttle for us to the station and also, Peggy and Melanie, Rita we were wonderful too. I must appreciate the warmth of this great team who is making the guests stay as comfortable as possible. PS: You can ask for kettle from the front desk after signing an authorisation form.

Poor quality hotel, old and dirty carpet through out the hotel, dirty stained building from outside, bathroom shower gets very cold and hot suddenly and frequently. Hot in the room and no AC. Poor breakfast. They want to charge extra to fry eggs. Not worth the money spent at all. Definitely, should not be 4 stars.

Located at the very center of city and easy to find. Great view with facing the garden and Facility is simple / straight forward. Due to the central location, the place is not peaceful nor silent. Many people smoking on balconies. No complimentary water. Coffee and hot water is not available within the room. We were ca.15mins late for check out due to our toddler and got a friendly chasing call from the reception.

Our stay at the Metropole was nothing short of AMAZING. The view from the hotel was unmatched. You are seconds away from shopping and dining options. The hotel room was clean and the staff was very nice. I did not want to leave!

I rarely write review for a hotel but this one stood out as it has a great location where you can see the jungfrau from the balcony but the room condition is worse than some 2 star motels we stayed. The bed is so thin that I can touch the mattress spring and the room is dated and frankly I feel it’s dirty with the mold near the bathtub and the curtain. I hope their renovation will really bring the difference for this hotel.

The location, staff, and room were amazing. Sitting on the balcony watching the paragliders land was an amazing experience that never got old. I would highly recommend staying here.
