Problems that were reported by previous guest still have not been addressed. It has been over 2 months. 1) hot tub jets not working 2) pool card reader broken, pool heater not working, ever kids would not go in. 3) 1st room dirty and smoked in, had to fight to get new room, 4) bathroom vent broken 5) bathroom door broken, hope you dont like privacy- was broken and warped 6) had to move dress just to access one side if the bed, 7) tub saw so dirty and stained we had to ware watershoes 8) front dest staff was very rude!! MAIN concern, know your plan of escape incase of fire, all exit sign were blocked by lihjt fixtures and fire proif doirs were propped open. The whole hotel needs a major update/overhaul. I could never recommend this hotel to my worst enemies. If i could I would give it zero stars

Delilah at the front desk was super! She is a keeper. Wonderfully kind and welcoming. The rooms are nice and convenient.

Got checked in and got to my room and all of us got our stuff out and put away just to have a pipe come apart and flood the room ugh 😩 so I called down at the desk of course no answer so I had to get dressed walk downstairs to the front desk just to find a sign saying they had stepped Away for a while ugh so I waited about 10-15 minutes and then the front lady said can I help you told her what happened and the a older man actually came in the office as I was telling her so she made him come upstairs to take a look at it to see if it was something they can fix and then he came up here so we had to walk back up to the room. He came up here then he realized that you couldn’t do it it would take too long so then he radio down to her. She said she had had rather room so then such an inconvenience. We all had a load up, about an hours worth because we already had everything out and then we had to go to the other side of the hotel, which was a pain. It’s just a big inconvenience for everything all around. I mean, I’m glad they did have the exact same room but still.

We showed up at check-in at 3 and didn’t get into our room until 4:50 because apparently the sheets weren’t changed. We decided to go to the pool and it was overflowing so bad that the filter lids were popping out of the floor and a boy got his leg sliced because he fell in. The card readers at the doors worked only half of the time. The people in the breakfast area were extremely rude. We showed up 2 hours before breakfast was over and all of the food was empty. We waited 40 mins for my daughter to get a waffle because the batter was out. It definitely was not what we expected and worth the money we paid for it.

We had a nice stay we were just dissapointed that the hot tub was not running. We choose this hotel because it had a hot tub and we get there and its not running. We also saw some ants and that discouraged us. Another thing that was upsetting at breakfast time they were always out of stuff and we had to wait 10 ish minutes for them to restock, both days.

Nice room and had plenty of space for two of us. It was nice to have an ice maker in the freezer in our room. Breakfast items were limited and they seemed to struggle with keeping up with bringing more food out. Room was not quiet, you could hear anyone that happened to be in the hallway. Also some outlets did not allow the ability charge devices.

Front desk employee was efficient at check-in, even though she could have used some assistance. Hotel and rooms were clean, a bit dated though. Bed comfortable. Snow arrived the day before and the sidewalks were all still covered with ice.

Try a different hotel
There are cleaner, more updated hotels within the same area for about the same price. The bathroom was not clean at all. The doorknob on the entry door came off every time we tried to open the door! And on the last day of our stay, the water was shut off in the entire hotel.

I love Staybridge hotels they offer great value, however I’m not sure why I was put on the 5th floor during a construction on the roof. It wasn’t extremely loud but started very early and was nonstop hammering. Outerwear I would give it 5 stars for everything.

Started at check in, Girl was to busy chatting on her phone in the back room and not greeting me. The condition of the hotel overall was horrible in the last two years its looking really rough, Lobby and hallways was unbelievably hot, there was a funny smell throughout, carpets, paint, wallpaper is disgusting, my room had broken fixtures and cabinets, dishwasher leaks, shower head was clogged, cracks in the walls and ceiling, paint and wallpaper peeling away,

The hotel's staff was courteous but overwhelmed, affecting the availability of basic services like housekeeping. The facility urgently needs renovation, particularly evident in our suite's damp carpet and lack of hot water, which is unacceptable, especially in a Midwest city during December. Despite previously overlooking these issues due to cost and location, the compounded problems this time, exacerbated by nearly doubled rates due to a local event, made the stay unsatisfactory. A complaint was filed, and a partial refund will be sought.

This stay was amazing and I wish every hotel I ever stayed at was just as pleasant as this experience. What you get for the price is fantastic. The breakfast was superb (they even had fountain machines) and the staff super helpful. Our room was clean and we the bed comfy. We stayed at a different property on the way home, paid $20 more and had a horrible experience.

Good room but small details matter
The room was comfortable and clean. The table for evening snack and breakfast had baby ants everywhere. Also breakfast started at 630. The coffee was from last night and wasnt hot. The guy said 5 min. It was 745 am. Coffee should have been done first. Didnt get coffee till 8. Also my hair dryer is broken.
