The only good thing about this hotel is the staff's friendliness. Apart from that, nothing in it really works. To start with, they charged me MORE than agreed in me reservation in Expedia arguing that that was the price for when you choose the "pay at the hotel" option.
The hotel looks like a somehow newly adapted building, but everything is kinda improvised: the remote control in our room didn't correspond to the tv, there was a lack of proper blankets (Huaraz can get really cold), no extra towels, no shampoo etc etc. Eeach one of the 3 days I stayed we had the same issue with the shower: no hot water. Apparently they only turn on the heater when guests ask them to, which is really annoying when you are under a schedule and in such a cold high-mountain weather. The experience feels like staying at a place ran by two teen-agers or something.
I wouldn't recommend this stay unless you don't have any other option.
