The highlight of my week in japan — a beautiful, peaceful place with stunning views, friendly staff, and an amazing onsen. Highly recommend getting the breakfast option as well. I would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

I walked here from the Ikoma station, it was a great ~half hour hike with what felt like around 350-ish meters of elevation gain. The ryokan has a nice vibe to it. The hot tub was nice too

We had an early checkout at 6am and the staff was very accommodating and brought us dinner instead of our breakfast! :) It appears to be ran by just two ladies and they were super sweet and friendly! We would love to go back and experience it for more nights next time!

Just incredible! We stayed for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. The view was stunning, the traditional breakfast was a delight for both the eyes and the stomach, and the two ladies who run the ryokan were absolutely adorable. I loved every moment of our stay and I would love to come back!

Escaping from daily busy life. From the beginning the hospitality was warming and excellent. The front desk lady super duper nice, showed us the facility, amenities and genuinely happy to have us the onsen/ryokan experience. The bath house was nice and clean. The room with the view of the city was just spectacular a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. i highly recommended this to get away from the hustle and bustle of OSAKA.

Wonderful Japanese ryokan :)

Wonderful traditional Japanese hotel (ryokan) with hot bath downstairs. We saw so many beautiful Sakura trees on our trip but the most amazing Sakura was right outside of this hotel. Just jaw dropping! Really enjoyed our walks down the stone stairs to the small city, beautiful views and beautiful place. We even liked it more than Kyoto, so quite and authentic :) will be back!

これぞ日本の旅館

昔はみんなこんなだったんだけど、よく残ってるなあ。清潔極まりなく、誠意を感じて、古くても不満はない。でも風呂場の鍵が内側からなかなか開かなかったのだけは焦った。きれいなお風呂でとてもリラックスできたんだけど。
朝食。野菜おいしく、出汁はよく効き、鮭の切り身も味わいあって、大変満足。
月と木星が並んで生駒の街を照らしていた。
部屋から見た夜明け。
宿の前から宝山寺方向を見る。
