• Giens peninsula: exceptional natural site, perfect for hiking, cycling, kitesurfing or swimming in small sheltered coves. The coastal path offers magnificent panoramas.
• Almanarre beach: one of the most beautiful beaches in the region, known for its shallow waters and ideal conditions for water sports.
• Porquerolles Island: accessible by boat from the Fondue Tower, this unspoilt island seduced by its beaches, bike paths and shady trails. Possibility to rent bikes on arrival.
• Salins des Pesquiers: protected natural site, perfect for bird watching, especially pink flamingos. Accessible on foot or by bike.
2. Heritage and culture
• Old town of Hyères: stroll through its cobbled streets, discover ancient buildings, art galleries and small shops typical of Provence.

## Emplacement
Hyères is a small seaside resort famous for its beaches. You will love the immense beach of Almanarre or prefer the peninsula, on the side of the Madrague, or the beaches of La Capte, La Bergerie or La Badine for their shallow waters suitable for families. The peninsula of Giens also hides secret coves like the calanque du Four à Chaux. You can also take the open sea and head to the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles, which are part of the National Park of Port-Cros, or on the island of Levant where naturism is practiced. Many nautical activities are offered in Hyères and on the islands: sailing excursion, boat ride, tow buoys, kayak or sea canoe... The city is known for its exceptional seabed, and is one of the most famous diving spots in Europe.
