"This is an island to go to If you want a soft and calm holiday. We came here from a resort island on the north atoll and this is quite different. Here most guests are older and there are few wedding couples. Guest from europe and few russians. (Other resorts have lots of russian tourists) Tempo is lovely slowmotion on this small island and you walk around it in 20 minutes. What is uniquely with Makunudu? "Comfortable relaxing stay with nice atmosphere which fitted what we needed on what was a last-minute stay. Would say that the room and beach area could be a little cleaner - old bottle tops were on the ground around the plants in our outside bathroom, and old cups and cigarette trays were still under the bushes around our nearest sunbathing area from previous guests.
